Played both courses in late April 2016. Valley is easier but a tad more scenic. Palm is challenging with more water and harder lies. I was staying at the Villas II so the rounds only cost $79 each. Not too bad for a round of golf at quality resort courses. I played at 6:45am and 3pm, Wednesday and Saturday respectively.... More

The courses tend to be long but not extremely so. The greens were slower than elsewhere in the area but fine. We love both courses and both are a great challenge. We actually like the Palms course better. The Valley course has a lot of hills and vales. The 19th Hole is not very good. Canned beer only and the... More

Played both of these courses. Palm has more water. Valley more hills and vales with some water but not as pretty. Play Palms if you can only do one. Hole length is women friendly. Bathrooms well spaced out! Sand traps good shape. Rock wood grill or fisherman's landing is good for lunch afterwards.

Have now golfed both courses. Both are very nice but the Palms Course is the winner. I had a great game. Even had I not had a good round, the course is gorgeous. The fairways and greens were immaculate. Frankly, I don't know how they do it when they are in the desert, what can be a very hot desert.... More

The positive of these two courses (Palm and Valley) is their very nice layout, including interesting and challenging holes. You definitely need to know the layout of some of the holes as there are water hazards easily in play but not necessarily visible from your shot positions. The negative primarily has to do with the greens. Two years ago we... More

Played Valley Course Wednesday February 10th . Arrived at resort with no visible signage as to where to go for golf course . Turns out there is a tiny , discrete sign partially hidden by landscaping and bushes . After that nothing to suggest where to go . The car park and hidden bag drop is 100 yds and several... More

Palm course has been one of our favourites in the past. Poor rating because of very slow play. Noon tee-off. 2.5 hours to play the front nine. Told the marshall who then made a wimpy effort to speed up play. To no avail. Total round was 4:50. Beautiful fairways but they've re-done the greens with turf that is not real... More

My wife and I have been playing golf for too many years, and we needed some "tune up" instruction. Diane did not try and change our swing - she took what we had, and made suggestions on "minor changes". Often she had me saying "I knew that", but I had forgotten. Over the past 20 years, we have probably had... More

Both courses are aptly named and not only provide challenging golf but also gorgeous views, even while trying to locate a wayward shot. The staff are very accommodating and informative. Even a piece of fresh fruit is offered by the hotel staff while playing a round. Give them a try!

A very interesting & beautifully maintained course ( Valley) played twice so far this week as the Palms course very busy with tournaments. Only problem? NO Marshalls out on the course. Lots of sand & water everywhere. Challenging for all levels of golfer. Every shot has to be thought out, taking time to figure best approach for par 4's &... More
