Decided to play golf on our visit to Pacific Grove and picked this course just 1 mile away. It was very reasonably price and we were pleasantly surprised by the course. The front nine is the old course and nice but the back nine is fabulous. The whole nice runs along the ocean and I spent more time taking pictures... More

My husband has played here before and we were passing through town so decided to stop. We both walked the course. There were deer that hang around which is is fine. The birds are on the ocean side (back 9) Plan on waiting for food if you order from the grill to go! They dont have ready to go sandwiches.... More

The front nine is one of the worst stretches of golf ever, but the back nine is spectacular. Every hole on the back nine has a beautiful view of the ocean. I would play again, but would not pay the rack rate of $65.

For Monterey golf, this course is reasonably priced, a bit short at only 5500 yards, the front 9 is pleasant, although starting off with 2 par 3's is not ideal. The back 9 has a great stretch of holes, #12 being the best, along the ocean, waves crashing in he not too far distance, conditions were above average. Worth playing... More

This course was in great shape and we enjoyed our day of golf! On the first hole we were greeted by deer and also saw big squirrels along the way. The back 9 was spectacular with close views of the ocean. We booked online with the golf course and got a great rate. Will always remember our scenic day of... More

My fiancé and I scored a really good deal and tee-time on the GolfNow App. I really enjoyed the front 9 as it was fast paced, easy, and plenty of wildlife (especially deers). We were paired up with a really nice man from Australia. The back 9 was on the ocean - spectacular view, but a bit more challenging. We... More

Challenging but playable course. Very scenic and lots of wildlife. This course is A great value for price. Were able to get tee times. The pace of play was good. As right along the coast on the back nine and with Lighthouse.

I have played this course several times, and the back nine you can feel the ocean spray, and hear the waves, as well as see the ocean. This is a great course, and if you can't afford the cost of PB, then this he best thing next to the Ocean.

This is a really pleasant golf course. This is no Pebble Beach, but it's excellent value for money. The location is good and although the course is short it is ideal for a leisurely round of golf. The staff are very friendly and accommodating. Club rental is very good, and the clubs available for rent were first class. Unfortunately the days... More

Wanted to play Monterey on a budget and this course fit the bill. You get what you pay as for condition of the facility but the location and views are the big bonus with the ocean and lighthouse. Would definitely play again if in the area.
