Not sure where this review belongs. We took our bikes to Monterey and rode from Cannery Row along the path to Asilomar State Beach. It was July, and while 90 degrees at our house in the Bay Area, it was 62 degrees at best, foggy and windy here. The ride, however, was great. You are along the magnificent shoreline with... More

We have traveled there for years. We have a special spot we park, read and enjoy the view. There are small beaches for kids to play on and wade in the water. It is just relaxing there.

Who can quibble with the views here? I always love coming to Pacific Grove, and the walk, and views here, are why. I'll keep coming back.

The road runs along here so you can drive but there is a really great promenade that you can walk, cycle or jog along with the beautiful ocean views. Lots of locals appear to use this path to exercise. Good to walk off all the extra calories consumed on Cannery Row!

We walked from our hotel, Lovers Point Inn, to Hopkins Marine station. There is a lovely sidewalk that was full of families who were walking, biking, strolling. One section has a great view of the harbor seal colony along the beach.

Driving down the coast, seeing the natural rugged beauty... Appreciating all the designated parkland, senic overlooks, and beaches. Totally accessible and perfect for a stroll. Monterey, Pacific Grove, and Carmel by the sea... All three have breathtaking views.

The views are fantastic with lots of interesting coves and sites at which to stop. The dirt path is for pedestrians while the paved path is for bikes, although I did not see pedestrians observing this rule. No matter which direction you walk, you will see gorgeous ocean scenery, and most likely, sea lions. Walking is far better than driving.... More

What a beautiful place to be. To drive is very enjoyable ,to walk is heaven. The pathways are wide and clean so there is plenty of room for walking and biking. There are benches along the way so you can soak in the beauty of the area and breathe in the ocean air.
