We stopped here to look at some dolphins and spent a good hour gazing at the other sea creatures. This is a great place to take pictures or to break your day hike along the trail. It's also a great place to bring children to explore the beach.

We loved checking this area out. Great place to take pictures and a great place to just sit and enjoy the ocean. Be prepared to navigate the rocks to get to the point. It was a lot of fun climbing the rocks.

Gorgeous rocky point and good place to spot whales. Not much parking available nearby. Usually pretty crowded.

It is what it says, Lovers Point. It is beautiful. Definitely needs to be sawn when visiting Monterey/Pacific Groove.

We went near sunset-time in November, so it was freezing and windy. Still, there were many people enjoying the scenery. We went down to the beach and saw hundreds of hermit crabs in the tidepools. It was a lovely evening.

Since we were in the area for our anniversary, we had to visit Lover's Point! Besides a nicely protected sandy beach and seals perched on nearby rocks, there is also a nice park. This is a great area for a stroll.

A wonderful view of Monterey and the coast. This park is easy to miss, but well worth the time. Great restaurants and lots of shopping. Between downtown Monterey, and Pebble Beach and Carmel.
