Great walking path, even better scenery, so much fun for kids. You can climb out on to the rocks when tides are low. STOP FEEDING THE WILDLIFE. So many people were feeding the squirrels out of their hand. They are everywhere like rats. Take a...More
Clean and tidy vantage point with beach and nice clear seas. Rocks for the teenagers or adventurous. Grass for picnic. Toilets. Seemed to be loads parking when we were there but was cloudy so maybe not so many people about.

We were staying across from the park area and was conveniently nearby.
There are a few restaurants adjacent and other activities.
The hotels nearby are all older but sufficient.
Lighthouse Ave is just 2 blocks away for more restaurants
When the sun is out, this park and beach are filled with lots of people. The water has sea life and you can spend an entire day there. Near the water, I saw hermit crabs, crabs, & fishes. At the park, there’s plenty of parking...More

It would be a long walk, but beautiful. Probably close to 1.5 miles, so round trip would be 3 miles back to hotel. We found plenty of parking along Ocean Veiw Blvd. If you don’t want to walk that distance, I recommend driving to a spot just beyond the aqarium and walking the trail to Lovers Point and back. That would be about half the distance and you still get all the beauty of the ocean trail.
The trail beyond Lovers point is also beautiful as is the drive around the rest of Pacific Grove all the way to Asimolar Beach.

I don't know what area the other person was talking about. We have walked the trail out to the golf coarse several times and it is fairly easy and flat. The coastal trail has several access points down to the water and some small beaches. Lovers point has a small beach. You have to realize that the trail is along the bluff and that there are rocks, small beaches and tide pools below the bluff with access points along the trail. There are no life guards at these beaches. Best bet is to look on google maps using the satellite view and zoom in to the areas you want to visit.
