This is in an office park with no charm. We went to the restaurant for dinner. We passed through the wine tasting room and shop - no prices listed on merchandise or tastings. There appeared to be a self guided tour on the way in. The meal was served in a dressed up warehouse setting - small room and capable... More

Herzog is probably the leading kosher wine producer in the US and almost certainly the biggest winery around Ventura, but it caters to anyone interested in wine. In Napa, Sonoma, Santa Ynez and Europe, I doubt you'll find a better presentation of winemaking. There's a walking tour that takes you by the production facility and barrel room and explains the... We met my family here for wine tasting and lunch. We arrived early so took the self-guided tour of the winery. They were not bottling while we were looking down on the facility but the signage describing the history of the company and their wine making processes was very interesting. There is a $10 charge for wine tasting. Six wines... More

We really enjoyed our tasting at Herzog Winery. The tasting is reasonably priced and is eliminated if you buy a bottle of wine. Our server was friendly and helpful and obviously interested in our having a good time. Not the setting I'm used to for a winery (compared to Napa, Sonoma, Paso Robles, etc.) but enjoyable if you find yourself... More

The service: The staffs are very knowledgeable about wines. When I spoke to them, I could tell they are all wine lovers! I have tried 2013 Sauvignon Blanc, Central Coast. Very easy to drink, fruity taste. Very refreshing! Will definitely visit the cellars and try out their wine tasting event soon.

The self guided tour was free. Not much to it - but you can look down into the areas where the wine is stored and bottled. There is wine tasting for $10 per person to taste up to 5 wines. Children are not allowed in there for tasting, obviously but can sit at an outside table to take tapas -... More

Herzog has a very nice range of wines -- from relatively clean, simple wines at reasonable prices to some very good wines at moderate prices. (We have not tasted their highest-priced wines.) Their Z3 is an example of a very good wine at a much better price than one would likely pay in Napa. Their Late Harvest Zinfandel and Orange... More

We went on a Living Social deal, and had no problem with redemption. The wines were nice, yet reasonably priced. The service was excellent with Elizabeth being the main wine guide, and assistance by Jonathan when Liz got busy. They have bar seating as well as large communal tables.

Came here while staying in Ventura and we really enjoyed it. The woman serving us was very nice and told us all about the wines and the different labels that are produced. There really is something for every wine lover here, prices are from $13-$100+. We actually bought 4 bottles because we just liked them all so much. We didn't... More
