We'd been visiting up here for a few years and were astonished by how quiet and beautiful it is at this harbor. The restaurants were friendly, the beaches empty and the folks walking around were smiling and relaxed. Also love our farmers market on Sunday!!

Our boat went through the harbor out to our trip to Anacapa Island. We walked around the harbor prior after our boat ride and enjoyed all of the food and shops and thankful for public restrooms.

We mostly visit the harbor to walk. There are many beautiful walks available along the shoreline. I'd recommend Hopper Boat rentals to rent an electric boat or paddle boat. It's always a relaxing and fun thing to do. It takes about an hour and a half to go all the way to Seabridge and back, more if you explore the... More

They charge you $8 to park. It's more a donation for nothing than something for your money. There is plenty of parking so it's not like your paying for something in short supply. I never saw any security in the 2 hours I waited for a boat.

I've come to this farmer's market every Sunday for the past month now, and I've not been disappointed. It's not a big farmers market, but it's got fresh seafood and fresh local produce and artist clothing. Hopefully this Sunday farmer's market will get bigger, this way, I have more reason to come and visit every weekend.

Many yacht clubs and marinas with beautiful boats galore to see. Casual and fine dining. Shopping. Whale watching and deep sea fishing. Outstanding maritime museum. Frequent special events and entertainment. Easy free parking. Beaches nearby.

very quiet area, penninsula park next to it is a small grassy area with some tables and dinky bbq's. a bike and walkpath (still trying to find out which is which, not much labeling here). Stayed at hampton inn with marina view, but around its very dead especially at night.

Love Channel Islands Harbor. The shops are wonderful - a couple of the restaurants are pretty good also. Walking around the area is very relaxing and you can make a very nice day of it. Across the street is a state beach that I have gone to numerous times. One side has waves and one side is in a harbor... More
