This is a very scenic harbor area. As a boater, I look for amenities like cable, pump out, water hook up and power. This harbor had all of the above. Because I was on foot just enjoying an evening walk, I didn't stop to inquire...More

I absolutely love coming to the Channel Islands harbor for kayaking. I’ve been kayaking for quite a while now but have recently brought family and friends who have tried it for the first time. I recommend the CI harbor because the water is pretty still...More

This was a nice place to walk around and take in the sounds of the sea among the boats and rocks outlining the bay. Seeing American flags proudly hanging high was also a highlight. There's a great Interpretive Center in walking distance that I highly...More

Need a quick lunch before Wildlife Cruise (1 Replies)
We will be coming to Oxnard on Sunday for a 1:30 Wildlife Cruise with Island Packers. Can anyone recommend a restaurant for an early/quick lunch that will be convenient to the Channel Islands Harbor? We would like something casual and prefer local charm to chains. Thanks.

Apparently I've picked the wrong weekend for a visit to LA. Just found out from relatives who live in Oxnard, that there will be a CARmagedden the weekend we're visiting. Looking for help advice with routing directions according to our itinerary. Itinerary: July 14, arrive late to LAX, driving to Anaheim to overnight and visit Disneyland on Friday, July 15. July 15, after Disneyland, drive to San Pedro to overnight there, and take the Catalina Express the next day. July 16, visit...More
