I walked along the harbor in the evening and it was very nice. The view of the boats is amazing and there are various restaurants along it that offer a view of it. It is definitely worth the visit.

It's about 7:30pm and its peaceful and quiet. Some people are out getting their exercise and some are out to enjoy the night with their children. The homes next door are beautiful. There's quite a few eateries around the area with a few activities to enjoy like kayaking. I'm glad I stopped by to have some Korean food and walked... More

If you're going to be in this area on a Sunday check out the market - open till 3pm. It's not a massive market but some nice fruit / veg and other interesting sellers - clothes, plants, candles etc. This is right by the big marina and there's plenty of parking. It's a nice clean and relaxing place to visit.... More

Always go out for our fishing trips from here. They have all levels of fishing boats. The tackle shop has a great selection of gear.

Channel Islands Harbor is such a great harbor for boating of all sorts. Tends to be higher end boats and boaters as most of the harbor is private homes. It is really different from Ventura Harbor which gets the periodic smell from the water treatment plant which is nauseating. I am always amazed at all the live aboards there. Ventura... More

We seem to always have the best beach weather on the Gold Coast. I love to be at Channels Island Harbor in the summer playing in the surf or boating around the channel. Fishing has been off the wall lately and I get in some good exercise in my kayak.

Fabulous place to walk around, look at the views, boats & houses. The landscaping is beautifully kept with all sorts of exotic succulents & flowers. Great on a Sunday as the Farmer's market is there. We are lucky to have this place on our doorstep.

Locals love this place. Restaurants, marina and a delightful place to stroll or ride your bike. Channel Islands Harbor offers whale watching, jetSki, kayaking, standup paddle boarding and excursions to the local islands. Electric boat rentals and large party boats for fun on the water. This is where I live and it feels like I'm on vacation every day.

We actually sat on the west side of the channel near the end of Harbor Blvd. There is a small parking lot and sitting area. We pulled our folding chairs out, cooler with drinks and snacks, eReaders and music. What a glorious cool day in the sun. Chatted with a few folks walking and even got to taste some food... More
