A $3.00 weekday entrance fee ($5 weekend) allowed us to picnic under the shade of old oak trees, visit a small zoo ($2 each), ride the train ($5 each) and enjoy a pony ride ($5). Of course, in lieu of spending money, you can enjoy the shade and surroundings with a nice trail hike and picnic. Enjoy!

Love this place! Just wish the visitors on the weekends were more respectful with cleanliness. Avoid visiting the park on the weekends. The best part is the Zoo! Better than San Diego zoo and only $2! A bargain!

If you're in the area, this is a nice large outdoor park. It is family friendly with a variety of activities.

This is an amazing park. You can go to the zoo, horseback ride, hike, rent bikes, paddle boat, picnic, and so much more. My family loves the little zoo. The bear and mountain lions are fun to see. It is an enormous park with playgrounds for the littles and plenty of space to picnic or play volleyball. I highly recommend... More

I love it here. Trees, hiking, fresh air, and wild life (not the zoo, actual wild animals). This park is great for a stroll or a hike. You can also hike to Santiago Oaks and back from here. We have seen deer, coyotes, Bobcats, mountain lions, snakes, rattlesnakes, Hawks, Eagles, the famous wild parrots, and road runners just to name... More

We have been going to the Irvine Park for close to 30 years, were never disappointed. It offers several hiking trails, a small zoo where we can watch native wildlife, even a brown bear, horse back riding, water bicycles, benches and tables all throughout the park, beautiful trees, bird watching, tandem bicycles and cycling, It is very peaceful during the... So many great trails for hiking on foot, by bike, or on horseback. Several bbq pits, tables and benches as well. A few softball fields also. Great place for a quiet picnic or family party.

THE park has a variety of boating activities but is is most famous for the grilling that you can do from the shores of the lake.

I came here to do a photo shoot for my daughter and I found the park to be breathtaking. There's so much wildlife, pathways and just completely different areas of the park that will surprise you. It only costs $3 to enter the park and there is plenty of parking everywhere. There is an area of farm animals for children,... More
