Amazing Hidden Gem of a Park

This park gets really busy but I would still recommend it for families. They have a zoo, several playgrounds, pony rides, and more!

Each area of the park has it's own personality. A great place to ride bikes, some paths are paved, some mountain bike trails. The scenery changes from freshly mowed grassy picnic areas, to dry dusty trails. You can take the kids to the zoo or swing by the duck pond and enjoy water features. Irvine park is just great for... Went for a walk with a friend and my dog in this wonderful Park. Saw peacocks, turtles sunning on rocks, pair of ravens, equestrian center, children having an outdoor classroom learning experience. Loved it!

A very nice, quiet and scenic place to spend an afternoon. Used to live in the area, so it was fun to revisit the place I spent a lot of time hanging out decades ago. Very clean and peaceful with lots of wildlife to observe. The zoo is small but a delight with a good selection of animals on display.... More

We rented one of the party areas which was conveniently located for lots of children and their families. The facilities, zoo, train and pony rides were great bonuses!

Prior to leaving California I came here several times to walk my dog. There seemed to be lots to do here. Sorry I never got a chance to do it all. They had horseback riding, fishing, hiking, picnic area and lots more. If I'd have lived nearby I would have been here all the time.

This is a wonderful place for nature hikes, cycling , picnicking, birthday parties, taking paddle boats across the lake, swinging and sliding with the kids. One can go horseback riding or just have the kids ride the horses in the designated areas. They have a great museum and wonderful California nature zoo. One can see owls, foxes, cougars, bears etc. etc.... More
