We reserved stiff flex clubs for my husband and were promised they would have them. Showed up, loaded up the carts and guess what? It's a grab bag of miscellaneous clubs! Half were for seniors, three quarters of what remained were regular and two were actually stiff flex. My husband usually brings his own but couldn't on this trip (he... More

On my way back from San Francisco, we decided to get a round on the way home. So, we chose Squaw Creek. What a mistake! Several of the greens were still pot marked from the spring plug. The fairways are very narrow and any wayward shorts are penal. The day before, we had played TCP Harding Park and bad shots... More

Not a long course but very tight, if you spray at all..better bring LOTS of balls. I played last weekend and there was a three club wind affecting many of the holes. Better to be short than long on most holes. Large greens but uneven speed. Staff is very friendly and helpful. Bought vouchers from Travelzoo for $55 and was... More

The fairways are very tight and if you go off, there is a good chance you will not find your ball. It's not very busy and the views are excellent.

The links are extremely challenging due to the narrow layout of most of the holes. There is next to no room for error. You will spend most of the time with you driver in your bag. The scenery however is something that can only be described as amazing. Being in the Squaw Valley Area in the summer is incredible.

Excellent condition. Lots of sand but not raked so it's hard. The fairways are very tight and if you go off, there is a good chance it's a lost ball penalty. Several blind shots so take a look first. Greens are slow and not true to read. Not busy. Cart usually on the course with snacks and beverages. The course... More

My son-in-law and I were at the golf course at Squaw Creek before 7am. We wanted to get coffee to take with us but nothing at the resort was open, yet. When we talked to the starter, I wish I remembered his name, he suggested we stop and get coffee after a few holes. He told us this as he... More

Challenging and affordable! The course was lush from recent rains and you can't beat the Tahoe weather.

This was my second trip to the resort and my third time playing the course. I have been told it is an environmentally friendly course, so the turf is not maintained with any chemicals and it is cart path only. It is a very difficult course. If your ball goes off line, off the fairway, you are unlikely to find... More
