One trailhead for this place was close to our hotel so on the first afternoon after checking in, we ventured out with the dog to the preserve and enjoyed looking at the trees, the grasslands, and the birds. Since many signs warn of mountain lions,...More

Enjoyed this walk guided by a volunteer Land Conservancy docent. Make arrangements through the office of the Ojai Land Conservancy. The walk would have been even more scenic in the spring. Easy loop, flat walk.

Stumbled upon this spot riding our bikes. Great path, lots of beauty and scenery with good scents along this trail (and lots of dogs being walked). The preserve is fairly flat but we connected with the Ojai Saddle Trails and ended up pushing our bikes...More

A friend told us about the meadowlands so we checked it out and took a nice walk. Very pastoral, calm and beautiful. Rabbits, butterflies and birds in addition to the wildflowers. Pretty nice!

Before going to dinner we decided to check this place out and do a short walk. Beautiful spring late afternoon so the weather was perfect to appreciate the little frog, birds, a few spring flowers, and the view around us.
