About
Ojai Olive Oil is a fourth generation family owned & operated farm, and the oldest producer of extra virgin olive oil in the region. We are certified organic, and one of the few local working permaculture farms. In addition to award winning olive oils, we also produce an array of world class balsamic vinegars, and food grade olive oil based skin care products. We are open 7 days a week from 10am-4pm for tastings & shopping, and are open on most holidays. We do not require any reservations. Pets welcome. Tastings are $10 each, include fresh bread and as many samples as you like, and may be shared. Locals discounts are available. Come visit our 200 year old heritage olive grove, learn about how olive oil is made, and get all of your questions about selecting, storing, and cooking with olive oil answered. Ojai Olive Oil is proud to be one of the Ojai Valley's most unique and well enjoyed destinations, and we look forward to seeing you at our farm :)

Enjoyed our stop here and had fun with the tasting. My friend and i shared which was perfect.
We dropped a load of cash-which, when you spend over $100 i think they should waive/credit the tasting fee!
Would stop again... Nice picnic tables to sit and do your tasting.

Ask anyone and they’ll tell you Ojai is filled with magic. Yet head just a bit off the beaten track you’ll discover a place filled with not just magic, but pure wonder, joy and incredible flavors.

Ojai Olive Oil is a family business and arriving there feels like coming home. Every time we visit for a tasting, a tour of the property or to simply pick up our next batch of goods (my wife uses their olive oil daily), we feel the love and dedication that goes into this place. What we really enjoy is hearing how the process works from growing to milling to bottling. We come for the award-winning olive oil and leave with giant smiles and a heartfelt, soulful feeling. What an incredible place!

We had a lovely morning at this farm doing a delicious olive oil tasting. The staff could not have been any nicer and for a very reasonable price ($10) you can sample olive oil and bread to your heart's content (they have bread available but we also brought our own). We loved the garlic olive oil and white balsamic vinegar and bought them for purchase. There are several tables outside in the shade where you can eat. A really enjoyable morning!

Although it is a bit tricky getting to this spot, a side trip to Ojai Olive Oil was worth the effort. Directions on their website were most helpful in finding them. The surrounding area is filled with picnic tables and hammock swings, which is pleasant and peaceful. We only had a small sampling of the olive oils, which had to be taken to our own picnic table, most likely due to COVID-19. I would like to come another time to actually sample more of the oils that I am interested in vs the sampling that was pre-packed for us. At least they are doing what they need to do to keep everyone safe.

I was again back in Ojai for a conference I do periodically, but had never had much time to see the area. This time I made an extra day to do so. I found Ojai Olive Oil in my research. You really must hit this place -- it's only a few minutes drive from downtown Ojai, you could even ride a bike there. A bit of a winding road through beautiful citrus groves and boom! you're surrounded by Olive Trees! I don't think I'd ever seen one before. They source all their olives locally and make it all right in this little building on the property. Olive oil making is VERY LOUD. The tasting room is small and comfortable, adjacent to the olive sifting (shaking and removing leaves / stems / dirt) then the rest o the pressing and centrifuge equipment. In the tasting room a very friendly and knowledgeable lady gave us the whole history, it's a 200 year old grove that had been abandoned for 100 years and bought in 1990's. You can taste everything, from their three main EVOOs (all organic) to a dozen infusions ranging from pixie orange to garlic, rosemary, lemon, basil, jalapeno, etc. Then, they also have a wide range of balsamic vinegars they buy from Modena running from basic white and dark to infusions of fig, pomegranate, jalapeno and more. They provide little cubes of read and tiny tasting cups... we tried almost everything. Highly recommend. Of course, you can buy big or smaller bottles which they happily bubble wrap for you for travel or they will ship. I highly recommend you pop in if in Ojai. You can also take a stroll around the property. They have a dog friendly area and the shop also sells some other things like olive oil creams for your face and lips and olive tree coasters.

Tours closed. Could not view olive oil processing. Nice outdoor area to sit under the trees. Did not participate in the olive oil tasting for $10 since could not take the tour.

Visited Ojai Olive Oil- for tasting we each received a black, rectangle plastic "take-out" container with small containers of olive oil and two with different balsamic vinegar to take outdoors and sit at picnic tables. We followed the written instructions on the order for tasting. Glad we read reviews in advance and brought a slice of bread to use for our tasting. The black container is recycled after use. We bought some signature extra virgin olive oil, cinnamon pear infused balsamic vinegar and unscented olive oil face cream (used for hands). Have enjoyed salad dressings with the olive oil and balsamic vinegar- yummy!

This is a great place to bring your significant other, friends, and family with kids. There are plenty of places to sit and relax in the shade of olive trees while tasting the daily selection of olive oils and kinds of vinegar available. I suggest bring some snacks and bread to enjoy the experience.

Drove up the hill in the morning when it was still cool. the new Tasting Room is open and has a/c. There is a lovely outdoor seating area where you take your 'tasting box' and enjoy the different tastings for that day. We were given a sheet with the descriptions of the oils/vinegars so we could decide what we liked. We ended up with the Basil Oil and Tuscan Oil. I love them both! We didn't have a tour but had a fun conversation with the lady in the Tasting Room. We drove our small RV and had no problem parking however, several of the streets leading up to the farm are narrow with overhanging branches.

Great place to visit! They are following COVID protocol. We were able to buy olive oil and balsamic, just make sure to stop at Westridge to buy a baguette. Come and visit and sit in their picnic area!
