A convenient and historically interesting attraction in the town center. Displays were visually appealing and interesting. My group of 12 friends took advantage of a private tour led by two excellent volunteer docents. This included a historical walking tour in downtown Ojai.

We were there in May 2016. for wedding. Stopped in with family to check the art display. It was good but, not what we expected, looking for more historical information. We did enjoy are time there though.

On a hot morning this gave us a chance to get a flavor of the town. It's built in the former Catholic Church and is still a bit hushed, but worth the time and the donation, if you have it!

I went during the Scorched Souls exhibit that was specific to the Thomas Fire. The exhibit touched my soul. It was beautiful and heart-wrenching at the same time.

A nice museum perfectly housed in a former California Spanish colonial style structure, with lots of information about Ojai, the area, Spanish history, Chumash Indians and Nature aspects. Time we’ll spe and very informative! Enjoy.

A historical section as you walk in, fun and interesting--but if you just want to see the latest art exhibition, it's a beautifully curated open space. The opening receptions are great fun and often open to the courtyard in back. A big plus for a...More
