My boyfriend and I stopped here in the afternoon for a wine tasting. There are two flights to choose from - one is around 12 and the other around 15 (reds/whites/rose mix). I was impressed to see they had organic wines available. Everything was tasty and the staff was super friendly (and even brought us once extra sample for free!).... More

They have two different flights to try so my boyfriend and I each got one so we could try them both. One flight was $12 and the other $15 and they were all red except one which which was rose. I do not prefer reds and was disappointed there were no white options. Overall, it was a good experience and... More

Tried both flights of wine and shared with my wife. Wine was solid and balanced. Had a great chat with the owner wondering how with such low production measured in cases per wine they are able to distribute. Most wines only produce 200 cases a year which is tiny. All the wine is sold through the shop at tastings or... More

We came in for a wine tasting and left with five bottles of wines. Came back the next day to pick up one bottle and left with three. The wines are delicious and affordable. You can buy nice bottles of wines without feeling like you have to break your bank account.

Brilliant... Our gal was fab.. she directed us to a great grocery around the corner where we picked up nibbles and brought in for the tasting.. Super cozy and friendly atmosphere.. left with 2 bottles of Sav Blanc.. A must when you visit Ojai.

We had a lovely afternoon in the air conditioning at the tasting bar and left with 2 bottles of their reds. Wish we could remember the name of the young fellow that was pouring but he was really great. He added a few that weren't on the tasting menu, and asked if we wanted to revisit anything. Took his time... More

What a pleasant experience! Stopped in on a hot day after wandering around Ojai a bit. The small tasting room is tastefully decorated and very quiet and relaxing. Our host, I think his name was Sam, was happy to talk wine with me for quite some time, comparing experiences and the state of viticulture in California today. Found the wines... More

Great service, yummy wine, nice atmosphere. We bought a couple bottles to take to our hotel. Easy drinking and nice that it's organic. The woman who helped us was very kind and knowledgeable.

Casa Barranca buys most of their grapes from other growers but makes a wide range of great wines, especially the reds, in small batches (like 150 cases). All organic I believe. The tasting room is in the middle of town on Ojai Ave., don't miss it!
