Legacy has brewed beer on tap. Order inside- limited inside seating. Outdoor seating available but a little cool this January afternoon. Heaters available but not on. Food truck available.

Good Rich Brew
Jun 2019 • Friends
Scottish Ale is one if the best I’ve had down here. Other brews tasty too. Place probably rocks at night, but we go during the day. Clean as this is their main brewery. No food options that I know of.

Nice Place for Beer Lovers
Feb 2019 • Couples
Fairly spacious, clean, dog friendly. We liked other places’ beers more than Legacy’s on this particular trip but that’s subjective & depends on what each place has on tap @ any given time.

Would try again when in Oceanside

A Nice Find!

We came here for a sponsored event. What a pleasant friendly place to taste crafted brews. My husband really enjoyed his tastings especially the Scotch ale, a definite favorite! The bartenders very friendly and efficient. Worth a return visit! 🍻

BEER
Aug 2016
First time here. Great selection of their own brews. They fill growlers as long as there's no ads on outside. Will go again.

Great Craft Beer
Jan 2016 • Couples
No food service. But the beer is good. $2 taster glasses or pints. Feels like a spot where lots of regulars come. The serving staff really knows about beer and we had fun trying different types. This one is Chesty Irish Red. An award winner.

Newly found
I live nearby and have passed this place thousands of times without knowing they were there. They have a new sign facing Hwy 76 so it is easy to see now. Right off the 76 on Airport Road.

Legacy is a good craft brewery in north SD county. I like their line up of brews a lot. We spent a very pleasant afternoon tasting. The Chesty Irish Red is delightful. The 3 IPA's I sampled were all excellent but my favorite was the Hop of 76 IPA. I recommend anyone one looking to try some great craft brews to find them and enjoy their brewery.

The staff is very helpful with excellent service. A brewery bus tour arrived while we were there but our server, Brittany, made sure to keep an eye on us to see what we wanted to sample next while hustling to take care of the tour group.

Nice type-specific beers that are easy to drink
Jan 2015 • Solo
I found the folks to be as easy going as the beers. Legacy was started in 2014 and offers nice examples of archetypal beers. No jasmine-infused, supercalifragilistic mystery beers here. The IPAs are simple nice IPAs, etc. The tasting room is plain and a bit dark (has a bit of a biker bar vibe with numerous Marine memorabilia). The brewing equipment is in the back of the room and readily visible. I had driven past this location hundreds of times without ever noticing it (shame, shame). It is on a corner property in an industrial park across from the airport. I would definitely recommend any north San Diego county beer tourist to make a stop here.
