What a tremendous find. Great views complimented by great hosts and superb wine. In Oceanside but inland. Great growing climate with several estate produced wines. Cheers!

This place is a hidden gem in the hills of Morro on the borders of Oceanside and Fallbrook. The owners Kim and George are warm and welcoming creating a 'family' atmosphere. Their passion for wine making shows in the many varietals they produce. There is a wine for all; from those just beginning on their wine tasting journey to the most discriminating palate. The top deck patio allows for a relaxed wine tasting experience only exceeded by the break taking 360 degree views. Beach House Winery is a MUST when in north county.

Came by this winery to do a wine tasting. They let you taste 6 wines for $15 which is not refunded if you buy any bottle of wine. A bit stingy but oh well. We tasted 2015 SANGIOVESE - Great, fruit forward- bottle sells for $32, 2017 PINOT NOIR - Soft mouth, lingering - sells for $36, 2013 BIG BREAK GSM - was just OK - sells for $28, 2015 MONTEPULCIANO - recently bottled, full nose, a bit buttery and silky smooth finish - sells for $26.
This winery is situated in Fallbrook, CA, not in Oceanside. The tasting room is a big home which looks over the nice San Diego Co. To get to, you drive up this uphill one-way road. We met the winemaker who is very approachable and friendly. He answered all of my questions. So much to see in this area. If you visit right now on his tasting room menu there's only 2 wines that are estate grown. All others, grapes are from other nearby wine producing areas.
Only reason I didn't give this winery 5 stars was because they don't refund the $15 tasting fee if you buy bottles of wine and because of the server, not the owner, did not offer more information about the wines. He stood there and just poured.

Wow...what a find and we are so glad that we made the trip! Late in the day we called first to make sure it would work out. The wines were really nice and we bought a wonderful red to take with us to our final destination. The owners are very friendly and welcoming. Planning a return visit as soon as we can travel again!

We had a wonderful time at Beach House Winery! We felt very welcome and taken care of. We had a wine tasting and enjoyed both the wines and the fantastic views very much. In our taste the Sauvignon Blanc and the Barolo were the best. We would have wanted to buy a whole crate of wine with us!

At the time of writing, this place has only 21 reviews, but almost 90% of these are "excellent" with NONE saying poor or terrible. It needs more reviews because it really was a lovely experience.
As one of our party was in a wheelchair they very kindly let us use the members area (which was otherwise empty at the time, tho others arrived sometime later), which really only saved us having to walk down a little way to a slightly lower level, but it did make for a slightly better viewpoint of the spectacular view.
The cost of the tasting seemed expensive (to me) at first, but hey - we're on holiday - and I wasn't disappointed. The food we chose was every bit as delicious as the wines (none of those present know much about grape juice) and despite the wonderfully civilised surroundings and service, we had a wonderful time and a few laughs along the way ;)

I sampled six bold red wines and bought a case of 2013 Malbec, partly because of the wine quality and partly because a case was 40% off! Very nice wines. Only suggestion is to consider lowering the tasting cost or increasing the number of wines in the tasting. You can buy a full generous glass of wine for significantly less than the tasting cost.
There is limited parking here. The view back toward the coast is high and wide! Great couple that are the owners! Very friendly!

Friendly staff, good wine, probably a great view except for the clouds the day we visited. Looking forward to returning with friends.

Fantastic wine! Even better people! Such a great visit. They have a tasting room and a rooftop area above with nice views.
As you enter their driveway, follow it up like you are heading to the house.
You will buy wine after you do a tasting. And, you will have new friends because the owners are so nice.

High on top of a mountain side, the views and the wine were incredible. The family-owned winery is quaint, with husband and wife present to chat. Five generous pours for $15, and then you can buy some great wine. They have a roof top entertaining area that you can go up to for photo opportunities. It's worth the drive up the hills to go there. The wines were very good, and they can ship them to your home. We met some travelers from Canada and some locals who were friends of the owners. Enjoyable time.

Can we bring kids for the tour?

Children are welcome. We just ask that you ensure their safety as we are a working winery and do have heavy equipment.
