Longest wooden pier on California coast at 1941 feet, 1/3 of a mile, there is a convenience store half way out stocked floor to ceiling with fishing pole rentals, bait, tackle, snacks and beverages, and a whole lot of souvenir's stuffed into a 7X15 foot space. Ruby's 50's diner is located on the end with breakfast to burgers and a view to die for. The pier it self is open 24 hours a day 7days a week

Very nice long walk to the end of the pier. You are literally out in the ocean. You look back and realize how far you are from the beach.

While it's clean of trash, the pier is lined with fisherman, tackle and in many instances their families, wagons and coolers - they're there for the long haul. I didn't mind that, in fact found it fun and interesting - but maybe not all would...More

The pier is a great place to walk and get out over the water, watch some pelicans, and surfers. In good repair and maintained.

Hard to find a better pier than Oceanside. Great sunsets, lots of fishing, family friendly with Ruby's Restaurant on the end.

The sunset views from the pier are unbelievable, there's not a bad spot to be when the sun goes down. The beach was well maintained and is a great place to visit
