Another MUST see attraction when visiting O'side!

As a local I go to OMA all the time. Their ever changing events are always fun and exciting. One of my favorite events is the Day of the Dead night. Just awesome!!

Lovely museum of art with a great schedule of social activities. Many are family friendly and promote area and local artists and activities.

Since modern art is not my thing I wasn't impressed by the collection. If you are into it, the displays are interesting.

some shows are very good and some not so good depending what and who you are interested in. Check on the artist that are showing before you go. Or just experience someone new.

Our visit to this museum was great! I was pleased that I got in for free because I am a student. It is not far from the beach. The exhibitions were fantastic and some included descriptions and commentary. I loved this little museum!

We were in Oceanside for one of their OsideArtWalk Friday's. We began the night by stopping at the Oceanside Museum of Art. There were a few vendors outside for the event including an artist who was painting live. Inside there were a couple larger exhibitions - augmented by a handful of smaller collections. I did not see a permanent collection... More

This an excellent small museum. Do not expect Monet or Rembrandt. It show cases lesser known artists and many So Cal artists. It is well worth a visit.

This is a very well organized little art museum. The gallery is clean, airy and bright. The Baby Tattoo exhibit was very bizarre, and would not necessarily be suitable for children, but adults will be fascinated (maybe repelled). Well worth going while the exhibit is till on.

If you are into the art scene, this venue is a must see. Beginning with its architecture, the building is an appealing mix of old and ultra modern. It is a small museum but with a very nice lay out that has one main exhibit room and multiple smaller exhibits throughout. Their exhibits are excellent and rotate often. It features... More
