Five day surf trip with Dave as a guide. Definitely a worldwide professional instructor! Every piece he taught fell in to place once you got out into the water. Accommodations were great and next to good food, also not a far drive from other places to visit in SoCal. I was a first time surfer, so a chill atmosphere to learn and practice meant no matter what I had a great time. Restaurants in Dana Point and San Clemente were awesome, and there was a hot tub for sore muscles. Definitely would book again without a question!

I stayed at the CaliCamp in October and had an amazing time. Ive been fortunate enough to travel to many surfcamps around the world and i have to say these guys got it right. The Accommodations were great with nice rooms, comfy beds and a decent breakfast at the hotel in the morning to get you going for the day. Lots of places to find food near the hotel which was great. As advertised they take you on multiple surf session throughout the day which is awesome. The location of the camp perfect because you are short drives to a many amazing surf spots which gives you the best chance to find the best waves. Dave and Reagan make you feel welcome the first minute you arrive and are just as enthusiastic the entire time you are there. I would highly recommend this camp to everyone looking for a surf trip to California as it did not disappoint.

For a number of years I dreamed about surfing in California. This summer it was finally time. I stayed for a little week at The CaliCamp and that was really the best choice ever. Everything was perfect and I had everything what I needed: Surfing at different places, meeting new people all over the world, chilling at the camp and of course the surf guys from the CaliCamp were so great! I really had the best time ever. I hope I can return as soon as possible, preferably next year and longer than a week! Thank you CaliCamp for everything!!! A lots of love, Roos, from the Netherlands

TheCaliCamp is more than just an amazing surf camp. Top-notch guides and a well-organized camp have created an environment where people, from around the world, can meet new friends, explore new cities and have an overall incredible time. With the help of surf guides like Regan and Josh, my surf skills improved drastically during my time with TheCaliCamp. From Huntington Beach to Del Mar, we surfed at some of the most beautiful places along the California Coast. No matter your skill level, I HIGHLY recommend TheCaliCamp; I'm already planning my next trip back!

Went for a week to the camp and had a great time; the rooms are part of a hotel, so expect all the advantages of a hotel (laundry, breakfast, housekeeping, swimming pool). Every mon-fri morning the (well experienced local) guides will come to the camp, groups will be formed and with several cars they bring you to the best breaks in California. The camp is located in Dana Point, plenty of good restaurants nearby (check Coffee Importers for a good lunch!) and a small beach next door (15 min walking) for a sunset surf. The surf gear they give you on arrival is of proper quality, hard board or soft top, whatever you want. I hope they will be able to scale up and also setup camps in different spots with the same vibe. During my stay there were people aged from 18 till 42, some couples, some solo travelers and a few people who already been to the camp multiple times (good sign!). What I really liked about the management of the camp is that they just want you to have a great time; no unexpected upselling, no big hassle if something goes wrong (broken board), easy to contact if you've got any questions. Keep up the good work guys, hope to see you again :)!
