We went to the "Trudy & the Beast" production in September 2023. Really enjoyable show! We have gone numerous times over the years, but this was our first post-COVID show. Their were some small changes and some areas of improvement. For example, I bought tickets for the "Mummy Dearest" and they changed the show to "Trudy & the Beast" without notifying me or offering a refund. They should have notified the people with "Mummy Dearest" tickets and offered at least a discount. But other than that, the food is still good and the show was very entertaining!

They brought vaudeville and melodrama to the modern age. An intimate theater with incredibly talented actors will make you love melodrama. This was so much fun!! We plan on coming back every time we visit the Central Coast. Highly recommended!!

What a Hoot! Really a wonderful show. The performers were excellent. So much practice and effort goes into something like this and they did a brilliant job! The place is rustic and really fun. A few tips- it is cold inside ( best for the actors) So bring a few layers if you run cold. The food options could use some work. Basic snack foods hot dogs, chili, nachos, some desserts. Don't get the hot chocolate- luke -warm watery chocolate. However, we did not expect to have a fancy meal, so go with it or eat beforehand. The place looked and smelled clean , bathroom was nice . It is a fun place to have a date, or family and friends. They have a website so you can see prices and upcoming shows. All the seats are good seats. I recommend this place .

Third visit total. First "postCOVID" visit.The show was awesome as always. Highly recommend. We now own property in Cambria and will likely be attending more.
Recommendation from the audience to make the experience more comfortable during this Summer 2021 and into Fall 2021.Our performance was about 1/2 full. Given that, there were may open seats that folks who were sitting "uncomfortably close" could have spread out before the performance began. This could be overseen by the staff who could have invited people to move for their comfort into seats of comparable value. This would have made a big difference in the comfort of many (ie tall men) and the safety of all.

Our Comedy Tonight 2021 event scheduled for Thursday August 12 was cancelled by the Melodrama. To compensate they graciously offered us a gift certificate that never expired . We have been to the Melodrama before but we are not from the area and do not plan to return. My husband contacted the office and they were kind enough to credit our account. If you live in the area, or are visiting, GO. It's great fun!

We went and saw "Pump Boys and Dinettes" and were thoroughly entertained. Really a great show. High energy and fast paced, the event was divided into 3 sections (2 intermissions). The first two performances were the Pump Boys and Dinettes, while the third performance was a Vaudeville act. Lots of fun! Parking can be a problem, so get there a little early.

We decided to try this local favorite. There are people who attend once and those that are regulars. The show is locally produced and the actors are fun and obviously well rehearsed. Interesting presentation and fun for us to experience. We might go again to support the local talent. Facility is adequate with ample room. Parking is near and substantial. Food and drink offered.

This was such a very fun evening with a wonderful high energy and talented cast. Singing, dancing, story telling. A vaudeville act with chicken was hysterical 😭. This is a must see theatre. Plenty to eat and drink without a bad seat in the house.

My friend bought season tickets and brings us as his guests. I have been going to the Melodrama for many years. I Love it. The shows are always excellent and the performers are so talented. If you have never gone. Go check it out.

First time here, recommended by our neighbors. Absolutely hilarious show, my cheeks hurt from smiling and laughing too much! Family friendly, very reasonably priced. A modest menu of hot dogs, sandwiches and snacks all served by the cast. Shows change every few months. Cannot wait to be in the area again and see another show!

Doubt if you have had a request like this but I’m going to give it a shot. Our Model A club from Modesto will be coming to Pismo in October of 2019. We were wondering if some of our men could take your stage dressed in grass skirts for a little Hawaiian dance. Would love for your actors/actresses to take it from there. What do you think?
