We pride ourselves on making one varietal that is food-friendly and deliciously drinkable upon release. Our story begins in the early 1970's when Ray Duncan befriended winegrower Justin Meyer. The two formed a partnership and co-founded Silver Oak Cellars in 1972 with the bold vision of producing only Cabernet Sauvignon. Come experience the Silver Oak Cellars Napa Valley winery in Oakville, CA to enjoy exceptional Cabernet Sauvignon wine tasting tours.

We were with a group of people and had a tour and tasting. They are known for cabs and they are very nice, dark fruit with some earthy elements. The tasting area is pretty and they have a shop inside also. The man who was...More

Generous pours great people, and you keep the Silveroak glasses for $30. If you're a cab lover BOOM! 2008 Cabernet was delicious and we'll be back soon!

Unless you're a huge fan of Silver Oak, don't bother wasting your time or money. Hosts act they are doing you a favor. There are plenty of other wineries who would welcome your business and provide a memorable experience.

After a disappointing tasting experience at Stags Leap we went to Silver Oak. They went out of their way to make us feel special. The wine is fantastic, they gave us yours of the cellars and let us into the VIP room. No idea what...More

Silver oak makes very good wine. The drawback is the tasting involves wine that is on distribution and so it is commonly available. Personally, one of the reasons I go to Napa is to get wine I can not get easily.
