We had the misfortune of getting rained out here, but it looked lovely. The only reason its not five stars is because these people were smoking weed in the garden and it seems like the Kaiser staff would do something.

The views from the top of this skyscraper are terrific and this is a garden up in the air. Often a special place for parties, but just come for the views.

You can't go to the terrace because of the wind, no convenient places organized. Small dishes. Doesn't accept visa so had to go far away to pay cash.

This has long been one of Oakland's hidden gems as one needs a special invitation to come here, or be very exploratory. Great views of the Lake.

True Oakland: come to an event here and linger in the garden after dark. Beautiful view of Lake Merritt and downtown. Pretty standard in the event facilities.

Roof top garden great for outside venues right in the heart of Oakland. Amazing and beautiful. Awe inspiring when attending an event in the garden. Parking right below.

Enter another world in the roof garden. A hidden gem in the middle of downtown, a personal favorite for summertime free lunch hour musical performances. Bring a picnic lunch and enjoy their lovely landscaping, broad lawns and water features. Ahhh!

What a lovely treat to find a peaceful garden perched on top of a parking garage of all things. This is a delightful diversion worth a quick stroll while visiting Lake Merritt or the Cathedral of Christ the Light, but don't make a special trip to see this.

The Kaiser Building has a long history in Oakland. Today, it is an upbeat co-working space where people can rent shared office space. This promotes start-ups and small businesses. When you need to take a break from the city and all of the concrete surrounding you, escape to the rooftop garden of the Kaiser Building. You will not believe that you are still in a city! It is a peaceful haven for relaxation. You can even take a lunch or get something to eat at one of their cafes.
