We recently visited the theater for a weeknight concert. It was our first visit to the theater and it was an amazing place. Full old school, over the top detail and decoration from the 20's. From the neon marquee out front, to the elaborate painted ceilings in the lobby, to the wide lobby and long bar on the main balcony... More

Went to my first concert here and the venue is stunning! The theatre is tastefully decorated in an Indian gold motif including two statues that resemble some god-like deity (their eyes lite up during the concert!). I walked around the entire venue and felt the sound was amazing everywhere. The staff were so friendly and gave a brief history of... More

I totally agree with the other reviewer--avoid Fox Theater for live music. I saw one concert (Passion Pit) there and, while the interior is beautiful, the acoustics are terrible. Very muddy. Hot mess. I'm flying to LA to listen to one of my fave bands INSTEAD of seeing them here.

I've never been compelled to review a music venue until now. I've seen shows at numerous theaters up and down California, but I've never experienced this kind of WOW factor at those other venues. The Fox is classy, regal, expertly maintained, with great acoustics and sightlines. Like someone else had written, it has an authentic, vintage kind of feel to... More

I went to the STS9 concert here and was blown away by the awesome architecture of this place. There are fans in the floor near the front to keep cool, and there are so many levels to this place, I never felt crowded whatsoever. Bars located in the back looked like they could handle a crowd too. Can't wait to... More

Husband and I enjoyed seeing the legendary Mr. Van Morrison perform 2 nights in this beautiful theater in January of this year. It was a perfect venue in which to watch our favorite music artist!

The inside of this place has a vintage feel which I absolutely adore. The bar is right in the general admition area. The only thing I would change on my next visit is getting actual seats because standing for a couple hours can be tiresome.

Went to an Elle King show in this over-the-top 1920s movie palace, now repurposed as a concert venue. You can take a drink to your seat. The show and the sound were great, but the theater architecture is an attraction in itself. Check out the golden idols with glowing eyes on either side of the stage!

Attended the Van Morrison concert on January 20, 2016. The venue was wonderful as it was done in elaborate colors and finishing. The sound was great. It was good to attend a concert hall that was intimate and yet comfortable.

What a wonderful place this is. It was almost demolished, thanks to the people that saved it. It is over the top art deco. You can think back to the time it was a movie theater, now a perfect place for music. I saw Van Morrison there a couple of days ago, the acoustics..great. Any seat there is a good... More
