A much-beloved institution in Oakland. Families love to take their small children here for the old school delights.

Spent three hours with the grandkids at Fairyland. They played on every ride, explored all the animals, and were simply riveted by the puppet show. Their favorite activity, other that running at full speed during our entire visit, was sliding down a grassy knoll on...More

Fairyland was Walt Disney's inspiration for Disneyland. Hard to believe in the middle of Oakland is this wonderful little adventure park for little kids. There are animals, rides and a puppet show. Great for kids.

Thanks for your review, M S! Yes, Fairyland was designed for young children and their families -- other theme parks don't really cater to them. We hope you'll bring your daughter back for Fairy Winterland, our light-filled winter celebration (December 14-23, noon to 7) and...More

Family outing with focus on my 4 year grandson. In his expert opinion the slides were the highlight with the train a close second. Friendly staff and great fun in Oakland with great scenery nearby in the park. Lots of activities for small people.

for the MOST part the park is very stroller friendly. A place or two has a few steps, but really like 2 or three. Yes there are places to totally park the stroller or near the ride.
