Wonderful staff, good bands and great remodel. A must see for anyone visiting Oakland. This is in an up and coming neighborhood of Oakland and has a history dating back to the 70's.

It's like a basement party with a bar! Went to see The Meatmen (with Reckless and The Criminals). Cheap drinks, dirty punks, big outdoor area with an outdoor pool table. Awesome!

If you want down and dirty blues the way it used to be played, this is your place. It's not in the best part of town, but it's not dangerous. It's real blues, down home cooking and totally unpretentious. A must for any blues lover.
