The talent and the scope of productions for a small community is outstanding. When planning a visit in the Oakhurst area, I would highly recommend checking their schedule and have a wonderful evening with great entertainment.

The acting is very good a cheap price. It is a very cool place and highly recommend this place. The shows never get boring and are a lot of fun to go to.

My husband and I went to the Valentine mystery dinner show, it was hysterical! We had so much fun, They included the audience a lot and the dinner was very yummy! I've been to many plays here and I always enjoy myself. what's not to love about sitting in a vintage building and being entertained by a fun group of... More

For a small town, Oakhurst has some great shows available during most of the year on the weekends. What used to be the old bowling alley has been refurbished into a large theater with a bar and snacks available at a nominal cost. The acting is very good, and the musicals are exceptional. We are season ticket holders, and have... More

It was a fun evening at the performance of "The Altos", a mystery dinner play about a "mob" family. The dinner was good, Italian of course, but the play was outstanding. There was a lot of audience participation, and everyone seemed to have a great time. The players were excellent, the interacted perfectly with the attendees. It was a fun... More

Me and my wife recently moved to Oakhurst from San Leandro, CA. We were enchanted with the acting done during our visit. We watched ''Odd Couple'' (female version). I always like the TV series with Jack Klugman and Tony Randall. We can't forget Jack Lemmon and Walter Matthau too. Anyway this turned out be quite well done. The town of... More

Visited the Golden Chain Theater to see "The Odd Couple, Female version." The staff was very friendly and helpful getting us a table where four handicapped seniors could sit comfortably. The actors were very lively and carried the play along well. The saloon had some snacks, sodas and an assortment of adult beverage. Pleasant drive there and back from Fresno... More

A group of 8 of us went. We left during intermission, which I'm conflicted about. I love to support community theatre, and all their hearts are in the right place, which is why I give them the average rating. But the acting was bad, so bad. I wish the seating wasn't tables. They use headset microphones, which I thought was... More
