The conditions at this reservoir are deplorable. Garbage and food everywhere. A substantial fee is collected. What is the money being used for? This could be such a beautiful place if not for the filth on the ground. The lake was wonderful.

We went to gather, all 30 or so to celebrate summer and my family members from the South-East. Too crowded. Folks tried to squat right in the middle of our group. Cops were jerks, water was high, 25 radios blared a different station from 25...More

Went to Woodward reservoir and had a great time. Went in the middle of the week. There was very few people there. It seemed like we had the place to are selves. There was some wind so it helped keep the temputure down.

It's a nice place to go swimming, have a picnic with family. Beware though, it's a popular place and you may encounter lots of people on a holiday weekend or a hot summer day.

Memorial Day weekend, 2016. Horrific! There are no volume controls at the gate. This place was completely over sold and crowded. It resembled Woodstock without the rain and mud! The public bathrooms are completely ignored by the reservoir staff and were a health hazard. The...More

the lake can get packed on holidays so I like to go when there are less crowds. We like the undeveloped area for the space. lots of place to find trees and shade to set up your day or camping stay.
