We’ve gone out several times with these guys (sometimes adults, sometimes with our kids) and it is always a great time. They are very knowledgeable and professional. The boats are super fun (and safe) and we always manage to see something amazing since they can...More

We took the 15 person tour, one of the most AMAZING experiences ever. First, the boat is just super cool, you feel like you're on a Navy Seal boat going 30mph. Absolutely flying. The wildlife was incredible. Hundreds and hundreds of dolphins. A handful of...More

Whale watching - season + sea sickness? (6 Replies)
Hello, We will be taking our 8 & 10 year old Disneyland and are considering taking a day or two to explore the Newport Beach area. 'Newport Coastal Adventure Whale Watching' seems to come very highly recommended on Tripadvisor but we have concerns about the smaller 24 foot boats and potential for seasickness (we've been out a catamarans and such with no issues before, but I'm picturing a much choppier open ocean on a smaller boat here?). Does anyone have advice that's done this...More

Hi, No matter what size the boats may be there is still a chance for seasickness to occur IF you are susceptible to it. I know that I am very prone to motion sickness and so I take meds before getting onto a boat no matter how big it is. No one on here can guarantee that you and your family will not feel anything unless you have lots of experience on the ocean and already know your tolerance levels.
