I have been to spas all over the world and this is one of the best. Excellent facial from Victoria! I’m obsessed! This is an experience not to be passed up if you get the chance. Pure perfection!

Superb spa experience! Top-notch massage service and luxurious pampering experience. Great amenities and located by Pelican Hill Resort with gorgeous Pacific Ocean View. The only downside, it was abit crowded when I went there, it would be better if they limit the total clients in one day - but overall, fantastic experience.

This Spa does not disappoint! From the moment we were checked in , it was apparent that we will be indulging in a very luxurious experience. The lockers are well appointed and spacious. The robes are comfortable that you want to stay in it. The facilities are tops. Make sure to enjoy all of it, sauna, jacuzzi and steam.

Foresee future visits - FANCY and SPOILED!

As a first timer, the Experience was very good! Efficient check in and professional excellent massage by Ricardo. Lovely and roomy relaxation area before and after the massage. The only problem we encountered was being able to understand the lady who showed us to our lockers. She was giving us directions in a strong accent which was difficult to decipher.

Luxury+Comfort = The Perfect Spa Day
Jun 2019 • Solo
I have been to The Resort at Pelican Hill before BUT had never been to The Spa.
I was looking so forward to it but honestly, I was a tad worried- sometimes these luxurious hotel spas can be pretentious and way too self-important. Turns out, that was NOT the case here....I enjoyed the day and felt most welcome.

My daughter gifted me with this lovely Spa Day via Groupon and yes...sometimes those deals can be a disappointment but in this case, it was really great and I would do it again in a heartbeat. I received the Rest&Relax 50 min massage, a glass of Prosecco and unlimited use of the facilities. The place is gorgeous and large, as you would expect from a 5 Star resort.

The Staff is very friendly, from check in to end, I was made to feel most welcome and every effort was made for my comfort. I had a Male Massage Therapist who did a wonderful job (I actually prefer Men) and the oils and enhancements he used during the session were fantastic. The treatment rooms are gorgeous. I used the beautiful over-sized jacuzzi and the steam room and I have to say--the temperatures for both were perfect for me. Often they can be too hot to the point you feel that you are cooking so I was happy that both were very comfortable.

The lockers are large and the locker areas and restrooms are fully stocked with anything you may need. There are plenty of places to lounge that are comfortable and the waiting area features delicious infused teas and small bites (LOVED the Blondies!). Low light, comfy sofas and chairs and various reading materials make it easy to relax before and after your service.

I am an Orange County resident and I have been to several Day Spas in the area that are nice BUT now that I know The Spa at Pelican Hill is such a lovely place to spend the day- I will be looking forward to coming back as often as possible.

We suspect valet parking damaged our car. They claim to have video proving the car left undamaged but refuse to show it citing “security protocol.” Sorry, not buying it. Since it’s valet parking only here, not going to bother coming back.

Eerie but beautiful
Jul 2018 • Solo
There may be such a thing as too much space, and maybe perhaps too much stone and marble for that matter... But it is,of course, personal preference.

The Spa at Pelican Hill is massive. There is no other word for it. When you walk in you are in a huge cavernous space the size of a small concert hall and there was no one there except for one girl tucked behind a desk in the dark perimeter to greet you.

The gift shop is large but seemed to be low on inventory. Although, I can’t imagine the cost of filling up such a large space.

Everywhere I went was empty. I did not see one staff member (other than my massage therapist) or another resort guest anywhere. Anywhere. This could be by design, but it felt a little eerie. All of that said, the lounge for the women was very cozy. They did a beautiful job of creating warmth and intimacy with drapes and soft furnishings. The facility is beautiful I just wish I would’ve seen more charm and warmth.

If you are tired of people, want to escape the chaos and don’t mind an echo - then the Spa at Pelican Hill is perfect for you.

Attention to detail could be 5 star
Dec 2018 • Couples
This place could be a 5 star as the rooms and building are very nice. $512.00 for two 50 minute aromatherapy massages certainly makes you think they you will have a 5 star service but that is not the case with this establishment. Attention to fundamental detail is missing. The dry sauna apparently is on a timer. In preparing for my massage I entered the dry sauna to discover that the sauna was off; hence a warm sauna not hot/ far from the 165 normally experienced. The steam sauna was good! I then went into the hot tub to find the temperature more like a hotel pool area sauna temperature; it was 102, that is what the attendant mentioned. I told him about the the dry sauna and he said sorry and that he could turn it on (but we know how long it takes for dry saunas to heat up). As for the hot tub he said they don’t like the water hot. He could not turn it to 104, heat a typical spa tub would be.

Hot teas service- it was cold as the candle keeping it hot was burned out.

Dirty glass doors when I arrived and still dirty when I left.

The jar that holds hair combs was missing sanitation liquid.

My massage was good. The massage room was comfortable. Generally staff nice.

But the Marriott Camelback and it the Phoenician in Scottsdale are head and shoulders above this place. If you are in the area of this spa and money is not important it is not bad.

Amazing spa experience for girls day out!
Jun 2018 • Friends
A few girlfriends and myself visited the spa yesterday (Sunday). We all used vouchers from Travelzoo and we were all pleasantly surprised; all our treatments were wonderful!

My friends all had massages, and each raved about it while they lay on chaises afterwards looking completely relaxed. I had a facial which also was great. My aesthetician, Diana, was very pleasant, polite and knowledgeable.

The facilities are clean and top notch. There is a large whirlpool, steam room and sauna. The quiet/waiting room is lovely, very comfortable, decorated in muted yellows, with different small seating areas, and includes tea and small snacks.

Parking is by valet and is complimentary.

The only downside is no pool or outdoor access.

Highly recommend.
