Fun and Interactive
Oct 2019 • Couples
It was great to visit the OCMA, we love museums and this offered a cell phone audio tour as well as interactive exhibits / like the VR experience. My wife and I enjoyed our visit.

Very Little Art
May 2018 • Friends
I have never seen a museum with so few actual art pieces. Maybe 10 pieces of true art. My college on campus free art museum had many more pieces of art. Surprised that might Orange County cannot do better.

Boring, few exhibits, not worth paying for
May 2018 • Couples
This is arguably the worst art museum I’ve visited. The exhibit rooms were nearly empty and what was there is not worth paying for.

The video exhibits are just weird. Almost like a teenager shot them in a basement. The only one worth looking as was the wading pool.

This was such a disappointment.

Unless you’re an “artist”, you’ll miss the reason for visiting OCMA.

Very small and free on Fridays
Jan 2018 • Couples
There isn’t much to the museum and it is really only two rooms with widely spaced exhibits. If you go on Friday when it is free it is a great value. The large dog that is advertised as being on the outside of the building was a temporary exhibit and has been removed.

Remember it is FREE on Fridays
Jan 2018 • Couples
Despite being free on Fridays, I don't feel that this Art Museum measures up in quality, variety & excitement that other facilities have to offer . But it is still worth a visit to enjoy interesting ART.

Great Museum for it's size
Aug 2017 • Solo
Spent about an hour in the current exhibit. Love the quaint, manageable size of the museum. Closed Mondays and Tuesdays. Free on Fridays. Adult admission is $10.00. Worth it.

Pop Art exhibition well presented in an intimate little museum
Apr 2017 • Couples
Saw a sensational POP ART exhibition at this small museum that feels more like a high-end art gallery or college art hall than the OCMA. Well-curated, sophisticated & pleasant viewing throughout. Lots of great outdoor places to walk & eat nearby. Well worth it for a day trip from LA.

Great Space that Pops
Feb 2017
This concrete block museum contains of wealth of colorful "pop" art currently (Jan 7 - Apr. 2, 2017). My jaw kept dropping as I saw another Andy Warhol, Claes Oldenberg, or Ray & Charles Eames piece in Pop Art Design as well as other objects, such as Verner Panton's Heart-Shaped Cone Chair or the red lip shaped sofa. Also over the same time period the show, "Forms of Identity: Women Artists in the 90s" has some intriguing pieces. Teh space really workjs for large pieces and the parking is free. So for an exploration of pop and gender art, do go to the Orange County Museum of Art before April 2.
