I played the South Course yesterday. I think this course is the nicest public course in all of LA/OC. I would probably say this even if half the holes didn't have a gorgeous view of the ocean. All the holes were different and beautiful with enough challenges (few holes where you have to carry a ravine or water to reach... More

This is a beautiful track and the Ocean Course is very challenging. Expect tremendous vistas and uneven lies; the ball is either below your feet or above your feet. It provides for very challenging second shots even if your sitting in the middle of the fairway.

I had people tell me about this course. It was a bit expensive for me, as I do not usually spend $300+ on a round of golf, but oh my good was it totally worth playing here. The course was in great condition, there was a cool breeze from the ocean the entire round. We played the South Course and... More

Frankly it is fairly expensive to play but it is a mystery to me why a golf course even exists that close to the beach sitting on a billion dollars worth of real estate. The back to back par threes are interesting and pretty magic. There are many views of the ocean perhaps more than any course I have played... More

This is always one of my favorite courses and if you really want to figure out how to putt with the ocean that close you must have a caddy with you. There are several tricky holes where you must lay up to the shoot over the ravine and if you were on your own you will not know that. I've... More

I have reviewed Pelican Hill Golf Club several times. So this sound old and tired to some.....I never get tired of coming here. I really feel like I belong to a private club that has wonderful views of the ocean from nearly every hole. The staff at the pro shop as well as on the range are great. Everyone is... More
