Impressive Spice Store
Apr 2019
Whole Spice has any spice you could want and the displays are beautiful.
I enjoyed browsing their collection. We would stop by on weekends and pick up spices for the week's cooking.
The store is in the Oxbow Market.

Very Good Spice Store - Oxbow Market, Napa
Dec 2017 • Couples
We returned to Oxbow Market for Christmas holiday shopping. This is always a favorite stop as the spice store has superb variety of high quality spices.

Incredible selection
Aug 2017 • Couples
This spice shop has just about every spice in the universe. Smaller bottles are prepackaged but there are larger bulk containers, from which you sample the aroma of each spice, blend or rub and then purchase your choices. It is nice to be able to monitor just how much you buy. Very interesting combinations, rubs and blend. So much fun to take care and savor aroma, etc. a must for a foodie.

HUGE Number of Spices
May 2017 • Friends
This little shop in the market has a multitude of spices. Everything you could think of from basic spices to spice blends. In addition they have a number of salts and other cooking goodies. Nice thing about this place is you can buy just the amount you need - a little or a lot.

THE CLASS WAS CALLED "COOKING OF NORTH AFRICA"...
Feb 2017
.....and that sounded like something exotic and delicious, so I signed up. Thus by accident, not intent, I opened a door to a whole new experience in herbs and spices. THANK YOU, WHOLE SPICE!

What we experience on the palate some of must follow in the kitchen, and this introduction set me off, at a gallop! I don't think I had ever conceived of as many spices and herbs, salts, blends, you name it, as Whole Spice has to offer. Aside from all of my usual "staples", I wanted to try one of everything, and held myself back only because I could never find room for everything. But I'm still trying!

Their website is full of information about each product and many have what all foodies like best, a recipe to use with the ingredient. Better still, when you have a non-standard volume of an ingredient that is called for, you can go to the store (v buying online) and get that quantity. In other words it's cheaper in bulk but you need not over-buy and end up with an unused/unusable amount that will be discarded.

My purchases fall about equally into both categories, online and in store, I've never had any errors or problems. I always look at their gift ideas for prospects for those hard-to-buy-for presents for my friends. A nutritious new recipe and a surprise spice to use in making it are excellent little hostess gifts.

Great selection

they have a bunch of different spices to check out. Some are in premade bottles and others are in big jars that they bottle for you. They also have a website to order from once you are home.

Spices Yeesss!
Jul 2016
Whole Spice, located in Oxbow Public Market is a definite visit if you are within an 45 min to an hour or less drive. This place right here is gloriously everything a spice. The quantity of spices they have from all over the world. The storage and lighting equates to a freshness that is as if you were purchasing it in the country of origin. The sales associate was professional, knowledgeable and personable. They package up your choices with care, perfect for traveling. You can even order online. I usually order my spices from Amazon or request of family and friends visiting countries to purchase the native spices for me. While I have scored greatly this way, I feel comfortable ordering from this particular store hands down. The prices are more than reasonable and they even have blends of spices so you can take your culinary cooking to the next level. Watch out there now, ah sookie, sookie!.

Superb Spice Store at Oxbow Market - Whole Spice
Dec 2015 • Couples
We like to cook. They have a very broad variety of spices at Whole Spice at Oxbow Market. They are very high quality. Service is very helpful in helping with the spice purchases. For us, this is a regular stop when we are in Napa to "restock" our favorite spices or to try out a new one.
