What more could you ask for. They offer maps, 2 for 1 tastings and knowledge of where to go and what to do. Very enthusastic and full of good suggestions tailored to your desires. Great experience and a must for Napa visitors.

You can check out Chimney Rock Winery off the Silverado Trail. They have a really nice cave tour and very educational. You can bring a picnic lunch and eat just outside the tasting room. You can also check out William Hill... More

Gorgeous views and you can bring a picnic while you taste their wines. Call them for appointments. You can drive there yourself and they are close to each other.
There is a nice hiking trail in Bothe State park near St. Helena and you can walk around St. Helena afterwards.

Yes, there are many wineries that will welcome you without an appointment although you may have to wait a bit for your tasting if they are busy. The Napa Welcome Center has lots of information that would be helpful for you!
