This winery has been built with a no money no problem attitude!!! It is Spectacular piece or Architecture. Our wine guide was very informative with all to do with the wines and the winery including the owner and his family. A great story.

We stop at Darioush every time we visit Napa Valley since it is such a different place with the beautiful architecture. The people who conduct the tastings are really nice, like Deric last week. Their wine is excellent; no appointments necessary for a nice tasting. And they have the best pistachios you have ever tasted! Highly recommend!

Bizarre architectural mish-mash here. Tasting bar surrounded by several thousand sq ft of knick-knacks for purchase. Not impressed.

I hate myself for forgetting the name of the amazing guy who assisted us throughout our tasting. We had a reservation for 6 girls (5 tastings) and were seated at the bar area inside the tasting room. The grounds are gorgeous and the tasting room is exquisite. The service was second to none and the wines are incredible. Our server... More

We did the wine and cheese tour. Thoroughly enjoyed this unique, Persian setting and beautiful wine bar in the foyer of the building. Also had a delightful tour guide whom we really enjoyed. The wine and cheese pairings occur in a beautiful room down in the wine cellar, and is over the top compared to similar cheese tasting we did... More

Our visit was simply incredible, from the grounds, to the facilities, to the wines, the service, the team, the organization, and in particular our guide, David! An incredible experience all the way around...

Oh dear. The faux Persian pillars which greeted us on arrival, while fun for some Disney style pics, should have warned us of what was to come. Our hotel concierge had signed us up for the $50 wine tasting package. While we waited for our host we looked around the merchandise for sale and our hearts sank. Pretentious junk from... More

Who knew you could travel to Persia while visiting Napa? And yet, you can at the stunning Darioush winery, which is styled after a Persian palace..plus you can taste some of the most delicious wines in the valley. Found out about this winery on the advice of a local and were so impressed we had to order some sent home.... More

I have heard so many things about the Darioush Winery. It s a replica of the palace of Darius. Ostentacious. Too showy. This is a building that disolays the wonder of the Persian court and is actually very well done. We elected the tour with cheese pairings. While not inexpensive, our guide Chris did an outstanding job describing the history... More
