Read the story.... it's amazing. Two brothers immigrated (escaped) from Syria/Iran and started a new life in the USA. Thanks to their successful grocery business, they later started Darioush, named after Darius the king of Persia in 500 BCE. The wines leave you wondering why you ever drink anything else. Go see for yourself.

We booked an advanced wine and food pairing and tasting. We were welcomed by the concierge at our arrival and then escorted by our tour guide to a private living room. There we were given chardonnay from the recent release. While the tour guide gave us a brief history of the winery we sipped on wine. It was lovely. We... More

Deric was a great host, thank you. The wine is very good but expensive; it's Napa....dah!! The winery gave me the feel of being in Las Vegas. Coincidentally, a helicopter happened to land on the front lawn during our visit. That just added to the Vegas vibe. Worthy of a trip. At least for a few great pictures.

Wow! An over the top experience. Darioush was the first winery we visited in Napa and it set the standards extremely high. Darioush put extreme thought, time, and money into this winery. Part of what makes it so special is that Darioush shares his Iranian and Persian heritage with all of us. The large pillars both inside and out, the... More

We visited Darioush with 2 other couples and scheduled the Quintessential tasting and were absolutely blown away with how good it was. The wine, food pairings and services were exceptional and exceeded our expectations. The highlight of the tasting, though, was having Darioush Khaledi himself stop in his private tasting room where we were to say hello.

We visited many small houses on our trip to Napa, but this large house was one of our favorites. It was beautiful and serene near the end of the day. Most places you're just standing there chugging wine so the next person can clamor in, but at this place, you have a time, which makes the experience much better. We... More

My husband and I visited Napa for the first time and stopped at Darioush first. What an amazing and memorable experience. The grounds and architecture are phenomenal. Our hostess was Jacqueline and she went above and beyond. She was extremely knowledgeable, friendly and passionate. You could tell she loved what she did, which made our experience all the better. Our... More

We had some down time in between tastings, and our friends decided to bring us to this winery just "to see". I wasn't sure what they meant until we got there. The owner of the winery, Darioush Khaledi, is originally from Iran and emigrated to Southern California where he established a grocery store chain. This empire funded his venture into... More

I made a reservation for 4 at Darioush Winery for a flight of 5 wines tasting on Saturday afternoon @ $150 per person. We arrived a bit early and drove up that beautiful long driveway. We were graciously greeted as we approached the entry by Mark, a very friendly concierge who checked us in with a smile and served us... More

We were a group of eleven, as such we were able to have the tasting in the very intimate cellar. The place is beautifully decor and the architecture resembles Persia which indoubtly adds a particular touch to the experience. Our Wine Master David was very knowledgable in the history of the winery and their variety of products. We indulge in... More
