Can’t say enough about the bucolic setting and relaxed vibe of this super informative and engaging wine tasting. Tyler was genuinely energetic guide who helped us feel at ease and gave us a great perspective on their delicious Pinot noir and the iconic Carneros AVA. Highly recommend!

Saintsbury was our first winery on our first trip to Napa and our only regret is not purchasing any wine while we were there (didn't want to get carried away since we had several more stops!).
Tyler set the bar really high for hosts and, after visiting six wineries, he was definitely the best that we had. He gave great service, wonderful explanations about the wine and how to pair them, the history of their vineyard, etc. We really appreciated his expertise and layperson descriptions!
A great, laid back atmosphere that I would recommend to anyone visiting the area.

Beautiful wines done in a style with minimal changes made to the grapes to achieve finished product that shows off the basic characteristics of the grapes-try the Chardonnay from 50 year old plot if you still can - wow! FYI tastings waived with $125 purchase per person. The California Pinots are also wonderful.

Very enjoyable. Server was knowledgeable about the grapes and blends and served a vineyard selection of 5 white rose, and red wines. Tasting was evenly paced and did not feel rushed. Although the weather did not cooperate and we had the tasting inside we could still see some of the vistas out the large open door. Breadsticks and water were also on the table to clean our pallets which was not offered at several other vineyards we visited. The pours were generous also in comparison to other tastings we have been to. I definitely would come back in the nicer weather and we could be outside in the garden

Had great expectations but was very disappointed. Our server appeared not to have time for us, even with reservations. Our wine was served from the refrigerator, not cellar temperature. The small outside area was pretty, and views of the vineyards are always appreciated. Cost compared to other tastings was not worth it.

One of the best wineries in Napa. A cute boutique winery where you will receive great wine and even better hospitality. The price point is great for how outstanding the wine is. Taylor and Jacob are both great hostesses. Will visit time and time again!!

We are big Pinot Noir drinkers and really wanted to see what Napa had to offer. This place didn't disappoint. Great knowledge from the staff. Awesome relaxed tasting environment. Great wines. That is all you need to know!

My partner and I visited Sainsbury Winery earlier this week. Many wineries charge $20 or $30 for a tasting per person. However, this one is definitely worth the price of the tasting. We were treated so wonderfully, and were given very personal attention. The gardens were lovely. Saintsbury really makes you feel like you are special. We even got to play with the winery dogs, Jet and Sadie! It was a great morning!

I love Saintsbury!!
This is far and away my favorite winery in Napa, and even the world for that matter.
It is a small and charming operation that specializes in Pinot and Chardonnay, and they do it extremely well. I love how they source their grapes from a number of different ranches around Napa and Sonoma, which gives them a great variety and freedom to explore the full spectrum of the varietals.
Honestly, the wine sells itself, but visiting the winery for a tasting is a really wonderful experience. Galen and Peter are super friendly and incredible at their job. Peter for instance goes around to all of the different ranch sites in his free time to better understand how the different microclimates and terrain affect the various grapes that they source. And both are super personable and just fun to talk to.
I cannot imagine a more perfect time than sitting in the beautiful garden on a sunny day and drinking their incredible wine (with bread sticks!). And if it's not a sunny day, then do the tasting in the barn house barrel room!
Lastly, be sure to check out the ridiculous portrait of founders Dick and David just about the big barn door on the inside - you won't be disappointed.

Great small vineyard if you like Pinot Noirs. The folks were friendly and knowledgeable. The wine is yummy and we even found out we liked Rose Pinot.
