Met up with Devon at an old Oak tree just South of the Sonoma Plaza and commenced in a very interactive ghost walk of a few of the many alleged haunted sites in and around Downtown Sonoma. 5 couples and Devon made five stops one of which Devon said was not part of the original plan where we spoke with a young girl who said her name was Penelope. The way Devon deduced gender, age and name were very convincing. The fact that all but one of us had come up with the name Penelope ( and one Penny) was very convincing. Everyone was given either a K2 meter or dousing rods and all came into play. Devon pulled out a spirit box which was also interesting. Whether you believe or not, a very entertaining and educational evening which not only makes you wonder about all this ghost stuff, but also includes some very interesting and very dark history about this seeming small easy going town.

Wow! I’ve traveled abroad and have been on about 10 different ghost tours. This one hands down was the best!!

In any previous tour I have been on, it was always second or third hand paranormal accounts.

With Napa City Ghost tour was actual paranormal mediums with first hand experience. Ellen and Devin were fun, entertaining, loving, kind and informative. We did the Sonoma tour tonight are already planning another tour in Napa. These guys are the real deal. A must for anyone curious or skeptical of the paranormal.

Fascinating history led by two fun people. Brought my family for their first experience. Ellen and Devin went out of their way to make this tour so much fun!! Harlot and hysteria indeed!! I want to go to their other tours when they become available. Great job you two!

We never received our tickets and when I tried to call I. Left a voicemail and was called back and the person told us to meet at a certain corner at a certain time. We were there and nobody showed up. I called again and nobody answered. My card was charged on that day and now they're saying they're going to charge the card again this morning. We planned our whole day around this event.

If you want to stand around for 3 hrs at night and watch an iPad then this is the tour for you. No walking on this walking tour except 3/4 of the way around the court house building. That’s it.

We took a number of friends on this tour because we have been on some interesting and fun ghost tours in many other cities. Many of these tours give you a great walking history of the area while mixing in interesting historic stories that left us with lingering ghosts. Some tours also allowed the participants to do some of their own ghost hunting, giving us tools (rods and meters that read electric current surges) to play around with and see if we had any ghosts trying to communicate with us or just around us. This tour claimed to do both and did neither. We stood in the same area for almost an hour (of a 90 minute tour) and heard 2 stories in that time. People were handed tools and then never used, rather the guides would ask questions (which the admittedly already knew the answers to) and see if their tools worked (which they did every time). Then we spent a crazy amount of time re-enacting (I use that term loosely) a hanging. Finally we stopped at an abandoned building that had no confirmed story that they were just using because the earthquake prevented them from going somewhere they normally did and seemed interesting only because it was abandoned. Our whole group was disappointed and had looked forward to history and maybe some interactiveness. The best story we got didn't even have a ghost (but again that was the best story and least some real history). One member of our group even asked if he could hold the rods while questions were asked to see if he got an answers and the answer was no. So disappointing and a waste of money.

Wow, what a crock. This tour might be amusing for anybody over the age of 75 are under the age of 4. Super underwhelming and sub-par at best. The Lady running the show is a self proclaimed historian who sat there and droned on about useless knowledge. I'm sure eventually her passive aggressive natural will leave her as friendless and lonely as the pretend ghosts she chases around Napa.

Not what I was expecting based on reviews I read. It was boring and cheesy. Too much talking and not enough interaction.

I took my teenage daughter on this spooky tour of haunted places in downtown Napa. Guests on the tour are allowed to become their very own ghost hunter with equipment provided by the tour guides which was way cool. The guides were funny and knowledgeable of the history of the buildings and sites where ghostly apparitions have been seen and the stories behind those lost souls. It's an interactive walking tour so make sure to bring an open mind and a heavy coat if you visit in the colder months. At the end you'll have a chance to catch a drink at a local bar/ restaurant. Overall this this was an entertaining tour of murder and mayhem in the early days of Napa and I recommend it for anyone looking for some scary fun.

WE absolutely loved this tour. It was a good mix of history and "ghosting." And, although we didn't see any ghosts, we did experience some communication. Devon and Ellen were funny and informative, and really made it a great experience.
