4 of us had a private bottle blending experience and it was amazing. We are still raving about it and recommending it to our friends. The staff here at Judd's hill are super warm and welcoming, and CJ who ran our event is a treasure. It was so informative and fun at the same time during the 2 hours we blended our own wine. We ended up with our own unique blend, created 5 bottles, corked, sealed and labeled. By the time we left, we became members of the "family" when we joined their wine club due to the excellent wine they produce and excellent pricing. Cannot wait to go back on our next visit to Napa.

My wife and I have been to Judd's Hill Winery on many occasions, we've attended several of their events over the years such as the Lobster Luau, Valentine's Day, Founder's Dinner, and the Hanukkah Hootenanny and it is always well organized, fun for all, usually with live music or other entertainment along with many wonderful wines to choose from. During this visit to Napa we had heard they had limited opening during the COVID re-opening. We called and made an appointment for a visit and were greeted by a helpful, masked staff who first took our temperatures and had a sign in sheet before we were seated at an outdoor table with fantastic vineyard views on a warm California day in the Valley. We had just stopped for a Tasting and to purchase a few bottles while we were in town. We're big fans of their Cabs, Zins, Malbec and Merlot but they also have lovely Chardonnays and we enjoy their Rose. As always this small, family owned winery never disappoints.

Jamie from Priority Wine Pass recommended Judd’s Hill. This is a small winery that produces 3000 cases. It is a beautiful setting as you look out upon two different farmers vineyards. It is rather interesting as the vineyards are planted in exactly opposite directions. We tasted grapes directly from the vine in both vineyards. Our host was friendly and knowledgeable. The wines were good.

We called ahead to make sure they could take us last minute as we were leaving Napa... we were so glad they had a reservation open! This place had wonderful hill views and even better wine! We were greeted by Michelle and their absolutely delicious Rose'. She brought all our flights and let my sister and I stick to the lights since it was a hot day. My friend had the reds flight and all of us enjoyed the wines and heavy pours as well! I think we each left with at least 4 bottles. They waived the tasting fee if you bought two bottles so that was a bonus as well. I would come back here in a heartbeat! I also wanted to mention they are very safe regarding the pandemic - everything is sanitized, the pourer wore gloves and everyone was masked -- extremely socially responsible.

My wife, kids and their "significant others" - all told a group of 6 of us recently did a wine tasting and bottle blending class at Judd's. WOW!! What a great time had by all. This was my 6th visit to Napa but the first time I've visited Judd's Hill and "hands down" the best experience I've had at a Napa winery. The staff was so friendly and professional. The wines are exceptional ( we joined their wine club) and the scenery was spectacular....vineyards surrounding the winery in all directions. Kudos to Ryan for making the bottle blending class so informative and fun. We even had the pleasure of meeting Judd and his mom Bunny - two very nice down to earth people clearly passionate about what they do. This winery should be on everyone's short list of wineries to visit when in Napa. You won't regret it

My husband and I celebrated our 5th wedding anniversary with a trip to Napa. When we searched for boutique wineries, we found Judd's Hill and quickly found their wine making experience. I reserved online, set it up, played a little phone tag, and everything was perfect upon arrival.
My husband and I can't recommend this enough, as it takes you out of the typical wine tasting experience, and lets you try your hand at your own blend.
Thanks, Judd's Hill!

We spent an enjoyable afternoon tasting wine at Judd Hill. The scenery was pretty, our host was knowledgeable and attentive and the wine was good. They accept the Priority Wine Pass for a two for one tasting experience.

Our host was congenial and very well informed on the wines served. We found all but one of the ~ six wines excellent, and several were very unique (in a nice way), reflecting skilled winemakers, in our view. The location was easy to find and the tasting room and surroundings very attractive.

We had the best experience during our visit! Judd's Hill has a very intimate and beautiful setting and the wines were very good. It was so much fun that I became a member. I don't remember her name now, but the lady that helped us with the tasting experience was great! and fun to talk with. My girlfriend and I were so glad we visited that day!

Just Wow! Where do I begin?! Had the best experience doing the Bottle Blending class with my fiancè and his family at Judd’s Hill. Our wine guide, Ryan, was knowledgeable and fun, helping us create the perfect blend to take home and remember our trip with. The wine? Incredible! Loved it so much we joined the wine club. Judd and Bunnie Finkelstein even came over to introduce themselves and ensure we were enjoying our time. Between the stunning vineyard views, delicious wine, and unique and fun wine bottling class, it was truly a once in a lifetime experience! Also, our group favorite vineyard of a trip filled with lots of wine.

I'd like to know if it's necessary to make appointment to visit this winery and if it's charged (in this case how much).

Yes do make a reservation, unless you go on a weekday. It could be a hit or miss, so to be safe, its best to make an appointment.
