Laird was our last winery in Napa Valley and it was a great way to wrap up the trip. It was a completely different vibe from all the other wineries we went to - very laid back, go at your own pace and almost felt more like a brewery (in a good way!). We sat on the patio which was open and lovely.

Sal was our guide and was extremely knowledgeable about the wines, sharing some great information on the flavors, pairings, etc. I did the mixed wine tasting and my husband did the red wine tasting, which kind of overlap, so he made sure to bring them out in a way that kept us aligned even though we didn't have the same sampler. We really appreciated this! He also brought out a tasting that wasn't included in the sampler, but we were interest in potentially buying.

We left with two bottles of wine, a t-shirt, a corkscrew and a great review to give :)

We had a wonderful tasting at Laird. Madeline was amazing! She was outgoing, professional, and provided us with history about the vineyard and the wines. The wines that we tasted were wonderful; we signed up for the club delivery. We ordered the large charcuterie board and it was delicious! Great experience all around.

Having spent a few days in the Napa Valley we wanted to see some wine production. Following up on a tip from the tourism office in Napa City we stopped at Laird. They were welcoming and accommodating, even without reservation. And the bar and terrace overlooking some of the machinery are a good place for a brief rest and a glass of wine. Just know the limit if you are driving

Small pours, sticks strictly to the tasting you opt for unlike other venues that give you an extra pour or two. Definitely got the bums rush to leave.

So many better choices in the region.

Wines are just OK, nothing special.

What a great find! The staff was upbeat knowledgable and informative. I loved that were able to observe the operations while sipping on wine. We Loved all the wines selected, some of the best wine we tasted. We prefer white wines but their reds were also remarkable. A must visit vineyard in my opinion. We rarely purchase wine after tasting, but we could not resist this time!

Loved the wrap-around patio with views of the mountains and vineyards! Tasting fee was reasonable for the area and enjoyed several good wines. We felt like it was like being at a friends' house who had amazing patio furniture (heavenly cushions on the sofas and cushy pillows) and good wine! A good place to relax and kick back, and they had a great view of all of the harvesting apparatus at work, which was cool to see! Bonus for not requiring appointments, and our host was great. He let my husband search in the lost and found to find a pair of sunglasses to borrow while we were there after my husband asked if they sold any (they don't)! Nice afternoon!

I live just outside the Napa Valley, so I am fortunate to be able to visit many wineries/tasting rooms. Usually I have good experiences, but my recent visit to Laird was so wonderful I felt it was worthy of a review. I was informed by my host that they had just recently gone through an extensive renovation and boy does it show. Their new patio has a very nice cabana feel with comfy furniture and ample shade for those sunny days. My favorite feature was their awe inspiring glass wall that gives you a birds eye view of their production facility that is unmatched by any other winery I have visited. If the views weren't enough the tasting staff(knowledgeable and funny!) and the wines(elegant yet bold) were amazing. I would recommend this winery to anyone who is looking for a beautiful setting with wonderful wines.

One of our favorites in Napa valley. Great knowledgeable and friendly service with no pushing of wine sales. Great tasting area inside and lovely patio outside. We biked from Napa and it was perfect

My husband and I visited Laird Family Estate with our 3 children while touring the area by bike. Since the tasting room was still under construction, we enjoyed our tasting in a converted Airstream trailer, which was a super cool experience. We had a very relaxing experience and would definitely return! We very much so appreciate that our children were welcomed at this property. We left with a couple of bottles to enjoy at home.

I visited Laird last year solo while my husband was at a work conference. I bought some bottles to bring home and after having them we joined the wine club. When we open one and share, our friends always comment on how good the wines are.

When visiting the area this year we had to stop in so my husband could see the place. Their tasting room is currently being remodeled and expanded, so they are doing tastings out of an Airstream trailer. They are definitely making the best out of a difficult situation. The trailer is pretty cool inside.

We decided to each get a glass and enjoy it outside at the picnic tables. It was a beautiful day and it was so relaxing and peaceful to just sit out and take in the views. It was a great way to kill a little time between tasting reservations. They do have cornhole set up as well if you feel like playing.

We are part of the "reds only" club, although I do like both of their chardonnays and added some on to our last club shipment. We did ask for tasting pours of the Pinot Grigio and Sauvignon Blanc and ended up buying some of each.

Laird is not as flashy as some other places in the area and if you are one that needs to have all the bells and whistles, this place may not be for you. If you are looking for great wine and friendly staff, then you should stop in.
