Having been fans of the Stag's Leap label for some time (for instance, when we've brought it to a party, etc., people always end-up loving it), we were excited to visit Stag's Leap Wine Cellars during our visit to Napa. We actually started our day of tastings here, arriving right at 10a, and we stayed for about 45 minutes. I... More

The Cab from this place put Napa Valley on the Map in1976. An it is still an experience to taste here. The grounds are a place to see for themselves and the tasting room celebrates the famous vinyards. The tasting is well organized and they have staff that knows their stuff. Well worth visiting.

Fabulous setting and design of the wine tasting rooms. Unfortunately yet again not recommendable for families with young children, which is slightly irritating given that the Parents will most likely promote the wine to their children the future customers. Great wines, though heavily overpriced in comparison to French Bordeaux wines at $245.00/ bottle.

We loved the ambiance here so much, we went twice and joined the wine club. The Fire And Water Tour was great! Both staff members that we interacted with were knowlegeable, fun and interesting. And the wines are over the top! Do not miss this winery!

Was lucky enough to score a patio seat at the edge of their vineyard! Our wine host Mark made this tasting our best ever. We really enjoyed the wine, and, he was so knowledgeable and informative about the history of Stags Leap that we joined the wine club! We look forward to our next tasting with Mark the next time... We had a VIP tour with Samantha as our guide. She knew lots about local history, wine making and the general climate and geology necessary for different tastes. We were fascinated. You are greeted at the door with a glass of wine and the staff continually have you try different wines as you're touring the property. It was the first... More

1973 stags leap cellars changed the wine world forever. Fast forward to the present no change in quality. They still make great wines, I love Fay but my go to is Artemis. Amazing winery, amazing tour, beautiful views

My husband and I are fans of their wine and this trip certainly did not disappoint. This winery does not take reservations for their regular tastings so we showed up around 4 PM on a Monday and were quickly ushered in to a table, where the friendly staff was waiting. The tasting room has beautiful floor to ceiling views of... More

Took a tour today of the vineyard, it was our first, but not our last. Samantha was our tour guide. She is knowledgable and enthusiastic and goes at your pace. The wines, all of them, were different and delicious. Full of flavor and body, or crisp and fruity. We loved everything we tried. Samantha taught us about the history of... More

This wineries reputation makes you want to include it on your visit list. The wine tasting here lives up to all your expectations. Though the price of their estate Cabernet's is quite high you will appreciate why after your visit. Take the fire and ice tour and get to enjoy not only the wine but also the caves and the... More
