Our entire experience with Woody was wonderful. The tours that he booked perfectly fit our group and exceeded our expectations of the day. He made sure we were well feed and watered. He let us have a singing party on the way home from the last winery where I'm sure we performed a wonderful show. Would recommend to anyone!

Our entire experience with Woody and his wife was incredible- we left all the tours up to him and we loved every minute. He picked us up and returned us to the airport in addition to our Wine tours. He’s very knowledgeable about all things Wine Country (and many other subjects)- was willing to make a trip to the pharmacy for us and the wineries enjoy seeing him with his group. By the end of trip we considered Woody part of our group and said “see you later” as we definitely will return.

Our trip out with Woody was a day we absolutely could not have orchestrated ourselves. All destinations were private tours that would have been incredible on their own— and we got a full day of ‘em! It was truly a spectacular day! Thank you, Woody, we will be back!

Wow, what a wonderful day we had in Napa with Woody
We started at Del Dotto. We sat under the wisteria arbor and tasted great red wine under PJ’s watchful eye. Then we went to Mustard’s for a relaxed lunch. I had the best bar-b-que pork sandwich I’ve ever eaten there. We finished off the afternoon at Titus Vineyards with Bret tasting more great Napa reds.
The tour was tailored to our needs and preferences. All the events were reserved ahead of time. All we had to worry about was choosing our favorite wines and enjoying the tour.

I can not recommend Woody's Wine Tours. Hired for 2 day trips from San Francisco to Napa in July. First days was fine. Day two was a no show. We were in the lobby at 8:30 waiting to be picked up when I got a call from Woody’s Wine Tours canceling for the day, suggesting we ask the hotel concierge for help. The hotel concierge was able to get us replacement transportation to Napa with pick up but not until after 9:30, which was not easy for 8 people with no notice; she also called our first winery to push back our first tour and tasting time. Our 2nd tasting had to be canceled, I found us a quick lunch spot and we made it to one more winery, Not the day we were expecting. I was very disappointed how this was handled by Woody, we were just left to figure out plans on our own and it us cost quite a bit of extra money. Because we made the best of a bad situation Woody stated everything worked out.

I understand your frustration at the events that took place on the second day of your tour. Unfortunately, I was unable to drive due to a serious illness that ultimately put me in the hospital.
I did my best to find another company that could accommodate you and your group; however, no one was available. So, I suggested the hotel concierge assist you.
I am sorry for the inconvenience this caused you and your group.

We were a group of 6 friends, all meeting from out of town and wanting to wine taste at some specific places in Napa Valley. We heard that Uber or Lyft might be hard with this many people so my husband coordinated with Woody what we wanted to do and he helped plan our day. He is super fun and friendly, and super knowledgeable about the area. We had to follow some time limits if we were going to see all our spots, but once the wine was flowing we were not paying attention. Woody kept us completely on track but we never felt like he was rushing us. We were even able to fit in an extra winery stop. He went the extra mile by carrying all of our wine to the car and also by making a quick stop at our Airbnb to drop it off before we headed out for the night. (I hope you're reading this Woody, because we did cross the street and go to La Hacienda after all.) Thanks for a safe and affordable option for our trip. We had a blast with you.

Wow! What a great tour! I always prefer to take a private tour versus riding around in a bus full of people staring out a window.
This tour was the best anyway you measure it. From the Mercedes Benz vehicle that was so comfortable, and easy to get in and out from, to our tour guide, (Woody) that pointed out all kinds of interesting things along our route.
Our trip included a run down to San Francisco, so we got an early start. Once we were in town and before we started seeing the sites, we wanted to find a nice breakfast spot. Woody took us to a great out of the way spot with fantastic food.
We learned so much on this trip, and saw some scenery that you won’t see from most tour companies. One of my favorites was a spot Woody took us to where I got a beautiful shot of the Golden Gate Bridge from an angle that you rarely will ever see! Great job Woody!
Everything about this trip was great, Woody’s knowledge of the area is endless, and his manner of answering questions and explaining things was very refreshing.
When I go back out west, I am going to book again so we can see some other areas that we didn’t have time to explore on this trip.

We enjoyed 2 great days with Woodys Wine Tasting in Sonoma. Our driver Jake was knowledgeable, professional, very accommodating, personalable and made our wine experiences even better.The vehicles were great and well appointed. This is the 2nd time we’ve used them and would highly recommend!

We had an amazing day with Woody celebrating my best friend's upcoming wedding. Woody was my first choice based on the Trip Advisor reviews and I could not be happier! They responded quickly to all of my questions and created a unique, unforgettable day for our group. Woody was so incredibly accommodating and fun, anything we needed and he was swooping in to make sure that we had it! Planning the trip as maid of honor is a lot of pressure, but thanks to Woody I nailed it ;) Thanks Woody!
