I loved this vineyard. The staff is so amazingly friendly and helpful. The grounds are casual and relaxed. The wine was delicious. It is a place that calls you to relax and savor each minute, relishing in the simplistic beauty of the vineyard and outdoor patio. They even have some outdoor games set up (like corn holes and others) if... More

A pleasant experience we shared with someone who observes dietary rules. Staff were helpful in wine selections.

Hagafen was the first of four stops on our wine tour with Platypus (separate review) and was by far my favorite. A smaller-scale winery, Hagafen's appeal is the style and service (in addition to the broad assortment of wines). You can walk the vineyards if you'd like, or wander the facility, play yard games in the back, or just sit... More

This winery was not originally on our list, but I'm so glad we made time to come. our host was TJ he was very knowledge about the entire property and the company . I was very impressed worth those sweet wines , particularly those Riesling and late harvest dessert wines. They also make some great reds that have received a... More

My husband and I stopped by this winery near the end of a day of tastings at the recommendation of our driver. The winery was a very pleasant surprise. The winery offers a good variety, including multiple blends. The wine itself was very good overall, with some great and some average. The best part of the winery was the personal... More

Referred to Hagafen because they offer sweeter wines as well as superb wines served at White House functions. Tastings are $20 for 5 wines from their first category or $30 or $40 for their more sophisticated Prix or Library wines. Fees are refunded if you purchase a bottle which ranged from $21 to $100. Staff was informative and welcoming. We... More

OUTSTANDING value for time and money – I highly recommend this small, intimate winery. I went with a 10-person family group that included 2 minors. The entire format was ideal for us – a 5-tastes for-$20 menu with 14 diverse wine choices; a serving staff of 3 friendly, energetic, and knowledgeable people; and an intimate grounds that included outdoor game... This is a great change of pace from the big tasting rooms. This is small and personal, not an assembly line, and the wine is good too! The servers are very personable, especially Cindy. Definitely a different experience from most of the wineries on Silverado Trail.

Loved the staff. They were so knowledgable and welcoming. As a sweet wine drinker, I was worried I wouldn't find anything I liked out in CA but I really enjoyed the wines here. I even liked a Pinot noir. The atmosphere with pergolas and tables was great. And they refund your tasting fee if you buy a bottle. Definitely an... More
