Great family, boutique winery in sunny Napa, CA. I want to review this great winery that we just visited! Cheers!

This was our first trip to Napa and Fontanella was our first stop. Jen was absolutely amazing, my girlfriend and I were the only ones there for our tasting and tour. Jen was incredibly welcoming and knowledgeable. She set the bar super high for the rest of the tours we did that day. We had an amazing time and laughed a ton. If your uptight you might want to avoid Jen, she’s a free sport and we enjoyed every minute we spent with her! Thanks for starting our trip off with a bang, we can’t wait to come back and see you soon!

Super chill winery and very friendly staff. Bought quite a few bottles and shipped them home. They gave us a little tour of the barrel room which was cool and learned what the whole in the barrel is called 😆. The grounds are beautiful too. And we saw a jack rabbit but couldn’t snap a picture fast enough

What a great visit! We were lucky to get a tasting booked and were set up with Evan. It was low key, beautiful, fun, and the wine was impressive. It was our first tasting of the trip and a great way to get our visit started. We also found one of our favorite wines of the entire trip here!

We were met with a glass of wine upon e Irving our vehicle for an afternoon tasting on mt vedeer. Very private with a tour of the barrel room. She customized to our wine preferences. We enjoyed a book of winery dogs while we drank delicious vino.

This was a beautiful property with a wonder tasting experience. Evan was our table host and he was super knowledgeable and friendly. Took the time to answer questions and explain things. The barrel room is very neat.

A new go-to winery for my trips to Napa. Dustin was so very nice and helpful throughout the tasting! Ended up buying a mixed case of my favorites (some of each wine we tasted LOL) Beautiful setting for a relaxed tasting experience. The outside areas are so comfortable, with the sound of the water fountain and the breezes off the vineyard. I didn't really want to leave. I could have spent the day there. The barrel room is impressive for a smaller winery. They do it right! I'll be back for sure.
Shout out also to Platypus Wine Tours for setting up this tasting visit. They are my touring company of choice in Napa, no doubt about it. I had never known Fontanella wines until Platypus suggested them to me. Now.....a return visit for sure!

The winding road up the valley was a nice change. Wonderful small family run/owned winery. Perfect day to sit outside and nice vineyard to look at. Nice to have a barrel tasting. Our favorite wines of the week!

The setting of this family winery is quite beautiful and peaceful. Jennifer greeted us with a a smile, and a glass of Chardonnay. Paige hosted our wine tasting and tour. She had a warm and friendly personality, and was very knowledgeable about the various, great wines we tasted.

We visited 12 wineries while we were in Napa Valley. At 9 of them, we were treated like customers. At two of them we were treated like friends. At Fontanella, we were treated like family!

Our wine guide for the day was Jen and here motto is, "No wine glass should ever be empty." She was true to her word, and kept us filled with wine, anecdotes and interesting information about the wines made at this fantastic winery. What a wonderful tour and tasting!

The highlight was a barrel tasting where we got to taste two wines before they were even bottled. Then we mixed them and tasted the blend. Wow!

There are a lot of great wineries in Napa Valley, but only Fontanella Family Winery treated us like family.

My wife and I recently attended a wine club event at Fontanella Winery after being invited by our former neighbors who have been long term wine club members there. We lived less than a mile from the winery for many years yet we were not aware of the wonderful treasure in our own neighborhood, tucked away in the nearby hills. We were greeted upon our arrival by Jennifer as though we were VIP's. She was friendly, enthusiastic and clearly passionate about her employer, her position and the great wines they serve. We enjoyed some extraordinary wines in a beautiful and private setting. As the event closed we were joined at our table by Jeff Fontanella the owner and wine maker, who spent a lot of time with us sharing about expansion of the property, explanation of the wine making process and his passion for wine. We so enjoyed his hospitality and his willingness to share his time with us. It was really like talking to an old friend. Living in the Napa Valley we have plenty of opportunity to join a variety of wine clubs and understandably we are often approached to join them. The Fontanella team never mentioned the wine club to us and between their fantastic wines, passion for their field and impressive hospitality, we plan to become a part of their club. Whether you are a local or a visitor to our fine valley, Fontanella should be on your itinerary.
