We happened upon this winery as our hotel (Marriott Napa valley) wasn’t too far away. This is a small family owned and run winery. It’s in a lovely setting and we booked a tasting with Jason. He knows his stuff for sure, he’s funny and...More

Luis was wonderful. Wines were very enjoyable on the patio in mid morning. Good conversation with interesting unexpected wines. Was a very nice experience. Ask about the ‘French Orange Juice’

This was our last stop last Friday as part of my wife's 50th birthday trip. We were checked in by Jason who was just finishing up another tasting. Jason is a trip, very knowledgeable and funny. He started off with a few jokes to relax...More

We had a wonderful time in O'Brien Estate Winery. Our host - Louis (I hope I spelled it correctly) - was very friendly, funny and had told us a lot about the wines. We were in Napa only for one day and we are really...More

One word... WOW! We had such an AMAZING experience here this past Sunday. We were seated outside and Jason Craig was our guide. He was funny, knowledgeable, and really made our visit so much more than just wine in a glass. He brought out some...More

Great vineyard to visit while in Napa. Jason was extremely informative and a blast to spend time with on the tasting. Its not just a stand at the counter wine tasting, they personalize the tasting in their gardens and even pour a glass for you...More

This vineyard and the wines have a great story. We had a delightful afternoon at this small family winery at a private tasting.

Forget the crowds and hype of the big name wineries. O'Brien is filled with so much charm and romance and remarkable wines. The owners came and sat with us and shared their story...it was incredible. It was relaxing, educational and a ton of fun. I...More

Most of the smaller wineries require reservations, I would call or email the ones you want to go to, so you aren't turned away. OBrien and Venge require reservations, groups of four or less may be able to just walk in for a... More

Best to reserve tastings well in advance at O'Brien's, small and intimate, as opposed to Castelo. Do it on line or by phone in advance. O'Brien's is very close to Yountville, but you will need to drive.
