We are by appointment only. Please go to our website to inquire about our experiences. We do not take phone reservations. The cost is $40.00 per person. We regretfully are not permitted to have anyone under 21 years of age nor allow any pets on the premises. Our award winning wines come from our 40 acres in the Oak Knoll District of Napa Valley. From grape growing to bottling, the entire winemaking process is managed at the estate. The vineyards are planted with Cabernet Sauvignon, Cabernet Franc, Merlot, Chardonnay, and Sauvignon Blanc. Our wines are sought after by collectors and have received many awards, including a recent 98 point score for our 2013 Unrestrained Reserve Bordeaux Blend.

This was our first time in Napa and we loved O'Briens. We visited 5 vineyards and we loved three of them for different reasons; Frogs Leap and Hall were the other two. We appreciated the casual, personal treatment we received at O'Briens. Julio took care of us, and when I say us I mean my wife and I. It's apparently... More

This was our first trip to Napa and to a wine tasting. Julio was our guide and he was phenomenal. He didn't talk over us and explained everything very throughly. He was very genuine. The environment was super relaxed and casual, not stuffy or snobby. We tasted six wines and they were all amazing, even for those in our group... More

I spent a lot of time researching places to visit while in the Napa Valley area. My husband and I were celebrating our 30th anniversary and only had two free days for tours/tastings. So we had to choose wisely. I studied wine blogs, Food & Wine magazine and then TripAdvisor for the traveler-experience perspective. I knew O'Brien would be a... More

We've visited many vineyards & this one tops the list! Julio gave us an exceptional experience. And the wines - simply exquisite. It was by far the most laid back & intimate tasting & tour. We loved every bit of it! This is a must visit while in Napa Valley. We'll be back for sure!

It is not too often I cannot find a single thing wrong with a venue. I am hard to please. But I am here to tell you that O'Brien Estate is the real deal. It is what every winery open to the public should be. Where do I begin!? The location is close to Napa city, so no long drive... More

Based on past reviews and a recommended from a coworker, O'brien's was our first stop for the day and boy did they set the bar high! This place is so unique, peaceful setting, and delicious wines! Luis was our host and he was GREAT! Enjoyed hearing about the owners and the history of the place. We visited 10 wineries over... More

This was my favorite vineyard visit! The location is peaceful, beautiful; seating is right at the edge of the grapes. Our host Jay was very friendly, knowledgable and made the experience so special. He shared the story behind the vineyard and the story/poem behind each wine. The wines were bold and complex. I highly recommend going here to slow down... More

After doing extensive research online, we decided to make the O'Brien Estate Winery the first stop of our Napa trip. We had a private tasting with Jason in the morning, and had a truly unbeatable experience. We were seated at a table outside, and were promptly greeted with a cheese plate and glass of wine. Jason took the time to... More

Wow- so intimate, peaceful, not rushed and just different from anything else we experienced on our trip. Jason was so knowledgable about the wines we enjoyed and we loved hearing about the owners' love story. What a gorgeous property and personal experience. A romantic must do!

We were in Napa for 2 days and hit up about six wineries. O'Brien was our favorite. Relaxing and welcoming environment and generous pours of truly fantastic wine. Jason was our guide and made us feel at home while providing a lot of great information. We even had a nice little visit with Bart O'Brien, the owner. We will definitely... More
