Hess is located on Mt. Veener so it's not located on the main drags of Silverado Trail and Highway 129, however worth the trek. The art collection is amazing. We loved the limited release wines, so ask if you can taste items only available for...More

The tour was very informative and fun, with a wonderful and free flowing discussion. The wine tasting itself was superb, the quality of wine plus the information and story behind them. Highly recommended.

Had a nice tasting here and had a stroll through the gallery. Next time I will opt for the upgraded tasting on the patio. The drive up is gorgeous but winding. Be prepared.

It depends on age of course The garden is interesting and seeing the vines in spring and early summer is nice for children. A tasting for children may not be appropriate. They would probably love the sculptures
