About
Jarvis Estate is a family owned winery dedicated to crafting a limited quantity of preeminent wines from our sustainably farmed, estate vineyards in the rugged hillside, four miles east of downtown Napa Valley. The Jarvis Estate winemaking facility is entirely contained within 45,000 square feet of cave tunneled into the scenic Vaca Mountains, and is not only a visual masterpiece, but a technical masterpiece as well. Wines are produced only from estate grown grapes and are cave-aged to perfection prior to release. Varietals include: Chardonnay, Merlot, Cabernet Sauvignon, Petite Verdot, Tempranillo and a two proprietary Bordeaux blends.

Good Morning Mr.Bond
Oct 2021 • Couples
Truly impressive in regards to setting, tour, winemaking, and personality of our guide Rob. Incredibly complex Chardonnay that I was really surprised by, Cabernet Sauvignon was top notch, could be best in the valley. Will’s Science Project blend was very interesting. Bold and ostentatious in the best ways, felt like we were in a Bond movie with its carved out cave experience . . .

Amazing wines and the cave is incredible!
Sep 2021 • Couples
We absolutely love Jarvis wines and a visit with Cora is always a treat! We’ve enjoyed these wines for several years now, and the “cave” is so unique that it’s a bonus. There’s not a mediocre wine in the bunch, though we are huge fans of Will’s Science Project, the reserve Merlot, and the Finch Hollow Chardonnay.

This is a “must visit” for wine lovers!

A winery that can be skipped
Jul 2021
I am shocked at the number of good reviews of Jarvis Winery. The first words that come to my mind are PRETENTIOUS and POMPOUS. Perhaps people like that, however that is not what I am looking for. The tour thru the cave was all about how Jarvis does everything right and every other winery does everything wrong. The bathrooms and crystal room with the opera music were all completely ridiculous. For the price, I expected some sort of personalization, instead we were toured and had a tasting in a group of 8 people. The entire group of 8 had to agree on one of the wine’s that was tasted. The tasting felt very rushed (perhaps the tour took too long)…at a specific time even though everyone still had wine, we were told it was time to leave. When asked about ordering, we were told you either had to pay a $50 non-refundable fee to join the wine club waitlist or purchase specific bottles right then and there…it wasn’t possible to purchase bottles once we left. THANKS BUT NO THANKS JARVIS!!

A personal experience with wine
Jul 2021 • Couples
Nestled in a ridge in beautiful Napa, this winery actually extends over 1300 acres in different locations near the cave. I promise you, you will never experience such unique time with the guided tour. $100 will get you the experience of the guided tour full of details about the history of the owners and how they acquired such property back in the 80's. Their unconventional methods of producing wine is what makes them so unique and interesting. The tour consists of taking you inside the man made cave where they explain their wine producing methods, a showcase of their gathering room for private parties and of course the wine testing which is very private, and informative. You are placed in a room with cheese and crackers and six empty glasses at which time, the guide will start with the first wine, explaining the characteristics of it as she is serving it. For each subsequent wine the guide will do the same, placing attention and care to each wine. At the end of the tour you can purchase a bottle. These are high end bottles of wine I highly recommended it follow me and my adventures ig @sin_aguayo_canelito

Beautiful Winery, Amazing Wines and Unique Experience
Jul 2021
Syl did a fantastic job hosting our group at Jarvis Estate. The cave experience followed by tasting top notch wines was one of our favorite experiences! If you have not tried Jarvis wines, please do yourself a favor and grab a bottle (if you can find one). It is definitely worth the visit!

The most unique winery in Napa
May 2021
Jarvis is by far the best and most unique winery we have been to in Napa. We have traveled to Napa for many years and have tried many different wines. Jarvis is one of our favorites. We have been to Jarvis three different times. If you go for a tour be sure and ask for Cora she is very interesting and fun to be with. I will tell you we always have several cases shipped back to our home with each visit.

Hands down best NAPA property and tour
May 2021
Rob was the BEST TOUR GUIDE EVER. My daughter and I had a private tour of the wine caves - this winery has an extraordinary history and fantastic wines all contained inside incredible caves where the grapes are processed and stored. One benefit is that the temps inside are nice and cool, a contrast from the hot weather in NAPA. Leticia and her husband have an incredible story and background in Spanish wines and French wines. Even the bathroom was incredible and worthy of her design vision and the humongous hinged doors were incredible.
The property is breathtaking, the caves are incredible and we loved Rob's knowledge and enthusiasm in showing us around and then spending extra time and care with us on the wine tasting. This was by far the best wine tour we took - if you only do one, make it this one. Don't miss the caves or the wines. Thanks Rob for making this special for my daughter and me.

An incredible experience. The cave tour is a must!
Apr 2021
We had an amazing experience at the Jarvis Winery and Cave. Our tour was incredible led by Rob, who was the absolute best. It's an amazing setting and we loved the wines! What an experience. Very private as we didn't see one other group the entire time we were in the cave. We felt very safe (COVID-wise) and left after buying some amazing wines.
