We love Elyse and made sure to visit this time. It was an okay tasting experience, not because of the staff or the wine. Both were good. We sat in a middle room, felt like we were teenagers in someone's basement. Not sure why, but it tainted the experience for sure.

We heard about Elyse from some friends and decided on a whim to stop by. Garrett greeted us at the door and invited us in. He was personable, friendly, funny and very helpful to learn more about their wines and Napa Valley. We learned more from him in our hour visit than all the other winery visits we had last week. He really made our trip special and we will soon join their wine club. The cabs are excellent and so are some of their special blends. We really loved the wines but it was Garret who won us over to Elyse!

We have been wine club members at Elyse for almost 15 years. We loved the old Elyse under Ray and Nancy and we love the new Elyse with Christopher and Joshua. The wines there have always been terrific at price points you dont usually see in Napa anymore, plus you get a wide variety of wines from zins to cabs to petite sirah and merlot from multiple vineyards. We have always had a great experience tasting there and based upon our last (almost) 2 hours tasting we are sure this will continue. One addition you get with the new owners is possibly an opportunity to taste some of their own wines under the Addax or Standard Deviation labels. These are a real treat as well. Thanks for the great tasting experience at an old favorite. And thanks to Laura for hosting us. Make an appointment at this winery. You will be very impressed!

Great wine, adorable little spot and we looooved the dog Hank! He steals the spotlight but we did not leave this winery empty handed! This place requires an appt and its just a tiny little place with a small tasting bar but it was delicious.

Definitely try and make this one of your stops along the way. It's off the main street and you can walk off a little tasting down the street or in the vineyards.

I am a local, so I don't really go wine tasting very often. I have a very short list of my favorite places to take visitors. So much of Napa Valley is fake and bling-y. Elyse is down to earth and unpretentious. Still Family owned, small and intimate. For a long time, they were the last winery that didn't charge for tastings. That's had to change because otherwise you just go to the top of the yelp search for "free wine tastings." They will waive the fee if you purchase. Some places won't.

The wines are very well made and not as expensive as many of the wineries around here. The style is BIG. They are known for their cabs, zin, and petite syrah, but my favorite is the Rhone blend. They co-ferment it with Viognier. It's so good!

We found this winery while doing some research online, and we are incredibly happy we were able to stumble upon it. It does not appear to be well known, even in the area, but the small size, personal nature of the tasting, and different varietals they offer made this more than worth the time. Kim provided a very personal and engaging experience for our tasting.

When in Napa a visit to Elyse winery should be on your "must visit" list. Great wines, wonderful staff, "homey" feeling in the tasting room. Did I mention the wines are excellent? Seriously consider joining the wine club; you will not be disappointed.

We arrived on 4/20 to this vineyard. We had so much fun. Garrett was our host. He was amazing! We met Kaylee in our wine tasting group who was a hoot. We will be back for Easter next year! Amazing , fun place to Visit. Thanks to all staff there! Absolutely amazing.

What a great find!!! We were greeted in the parking lot and given the choice if we wanted to taste inside our out. Since the weather was so nice we opted to taste outside. The pours were generous and so were the hosts. I believe we tried 7 or 8 different wines. The hosts sat with us and told stories like we were old friends. We weren’t rushed either. We spent two hours here. We will absolutely be back. Thank you!!

Small unassuming tasting room with a delicious selection of wines just outside of Yountville. Appt needed. Well crafted wines, more French in style. So nice to find a "non-corporate" winery. The tasting room staff gave us other suggestions for small family run wineries.
