Amazing Architecture and Petite Syrah

Had an appointment for tasting. Setting is beautiful, architecture is so interesting and amazing. They really don't want the focus to be on the buildings, though. For them, it's about the wine. And the wine is great! Best Petite Syrah ever. Francis (nice young guy) really knew his stuff, taught us a lot about wines and made the tour and... More

We loved the petite sirah and the wonderful cabs. This is not a winery for those who are looking for a bargain or a friendly wine tasting experience. They seem to only want to cater to the connoisseur. However we got past this and liked the wines enough to join their wine club...and this was our only wine tasting that... More

We heard about this organic winery from a friend and we found it very special as the winery itself was designed by Hundertwasser, famous Austrian architect. You only can visit the winery upon appointment which was very easy to arrange. From the moment you arrive you are taken care of as the most important client and visitor - a short... More

This was our second visit but our first tour. Initially we stopped in without an appointment upon a recommendation from another winery during a trip in the fall. Despite not having an appointment we were offered a small tasting and bought two wines. Based on the quality of wine and the uniqueness of the winery we brought our group of... More

I am writing a review not of the wine but of the service received when my group of four walked up to the winery to see it and perhaps make an appointment for a tasting later in the week. This winery was recommended to us late in our vacation, so as with all wineries, we simply wanted to make sure... More

What do you get when your architect takes 10 years to complete your project, doesn't believe in straight lines and wants to incorporate aspects of the environment into the design? Quixote Winery! Wonderful visit to this unique facility with an enthusiastic guide from the winery. Spent equal amounts of time describing the story behind the building as in describing the... More

We went to 6 different wineries over our stay and this was our favorite by far. The architecture is stunning, the tour was relaxed and interesting, and the wine was delicious.

We could not have loved this place more if we tried - a MUST for anyone visiting Napa/Sonoma. Designed by an artist turned architect the cellar door is an amazing piece of art in itself that you could spend a good amount of time exploring. A little early for our appointment, we were set up in the gorgeous back courtyard... More

We made an appointment to do the tour with tasting that costs $45. We were treated by Daniel when we arrived. He was our guide for the day. He poured us a lovely Rosé for our walk outside in the heat of the day. We were taken to the vineyard and told about the growing an harvesting process. Daniel also... More

Not thrilled with this wine tasting. The staff host was too loud and too enthusiastic. Quite annoying, really. The wine was typical Napa fair - jammy and delicious - but the cost ($100) for sampling 4 bottles with a teeny tiny piece of cheese was over the top ridiculously expensive.
