Extensive history on the Macon Airship for which the hanger was made. A few aircraft and some cockpits that you can sit it to get an appreciation of the pilot's job. Friendly and informative Docents.

Worth the price. All the dozens are extremely knowledgeable. One of them basically spent the entire time with us, giving detail on practically everything.

This is a military museum that is run by veterans. Very interesting military history and moffett airbase history. It was well worth the 8$. Plus we seen the F-16 take off from the airfield that day.

Since I don't know if it was the first NASA Research Center, you may find that info in the internet. If not, how about calling them?
