As a kid we stayed in the campground and used it as a jumping off point to fish at nearby Castle, Gumboot and Toad lakes. Never had any luck at Siskiyou proper, but it was fun. Now I have went back with my family to the beach for a day visit and realized just how beautiful the view is of... More

An amazing picturesque view of Mt. Shasta. I couldn't stop taking pictures. The kids had a blast in the Splash Zone and we rented a Paddle Board and tried it for the first time. Everybody that worked there was so nice and friendly. They gave us extra time on the paddle board and in the Splash Zone. Great prices on... More

Pretty Lake where you can get a view of the Lake in the foreground and Mountain in the background - Camping has fire pits, store, large camping areas that can be private and cabins for rent too.

If you go to Mount Shasta you really have to go here because you can swim while taking in a stunning view of the snowy Mountain. The lake has a great public beach to cool off in and you can rent boats. The big downside is there is no lifeguard so be very careful with kids and have them wear... More

It is a beautiful lake. It has a boat speed limit of 10 mph. It is not a water skiing lake but nice for swimming or kayaking. There is a view of Mount Shasta fro everywhere i the lake. It warm up nicely in the summer. There is a beach at Lake Siskiyou resort but many other places to access... More

Boating (with a speed limit of 10 mph) makes this an enjoyable lake for families to fish, swim and enjoy the incredible scenery. Access to the camp grounds, great trail for running, mountain biking of hiking around the lake.

This is the best lake/mountain view you can get without doing a hike. There is camping/ cabins/ beach activities on the southwest side of the lake. There's even a little restaurant to grab pizza, salad, nachos, etc.... Pretty much a win win. We enjoyed both a sunrise and sunset there. It's a must if you find yourself in this area.

This lake offers many activity opportunities. Paddling, kayaking, swimming, hiking, camping, picnicking etc. Perfect place to tie a hammock and relax for a few hours. Spectacular view of Mount Shasta. Parking is relatively easy. Paved walkway and easy walk down to the lake area.

We hadn't camped at the Reynolds Resort in a decade, but returned this year with our trailer and our two youngest. Much of it was as we remembered it, and the kids in general loved the facilities including the swim beach, the new splash park of play structures on the lake, and so forth. The one thing they both complained... More
