Had what I would say was the best ziplining experience in my whole life – would rate this place 10 out of 5 stars if I could!
Our guides, Bailey and Jordan, were super professional, knowledgeable, and hilarious – they gave us a detailed rundown of the redwood trees in the region and sprinkled in some nature-related humor from time to time, which kept the whole experience super exhilarating and enjoyable.
This place also performs maintenance on the gear and infrastructure of the ziplines very often so the whole setup was very safe, which was very reassuring.
If you're ever in the region, 11/10 would recommend giving them a visit – you'll be amazed!

From making the reservation to check in to orientation, to appreciating the incredible GIANT redwoods from a new point of view, the canopy adventure was fantastic. We had 3 in our party. One was uber enthusiastic and ready for any kind of adventure, the next not far behind, and the third was ready, but prone to anxiety. The staff made all three of us so welcome, comfortable, and happy with our experiences. Their gentle, knowledgeable guidance invited further engagement at every stage, and their jokes helped keep any lurking fears at bay. We were very lucky to have Krista (sp?), Jake and Jack to show us the ropes! We saw a paraplegic tour in process, and this made me believe all abilities are able to be accommodated. WOW!

Mount Hermon Adventures is a well-run company that makes the high ropes course fun and safe! Except for the 8 other people who were in our group that did not arrive the 20-30 minutes early as the instructions ask, which delayed our start, our family had a great experience. The 2 guides were friendly and caring, and also cheered on my teen kids. I did not climb but was able to watch from below and get some great pictures and video. My kids at 12 and 14 were able to navigate the course with no problems. There are no ladders to climb to get up on a platform, which makes a big difference. The obstacles were challenging and fun. Thanks for a great time!

Went with my kids (13 & 16) and we had a great time on the Redwood Canopy zipline tour. The lines were not as long or adventurous as other zipline tours we've been on, but the redwood setting was gorgeous! And we got to have some fun on the shorter runs -- hands free, trust falls, etc.
The photos they take of you from tree cameras are really great (lighting is awesome), and I appreciate that the cost was reasonable (8 digital photos for $25).
The obstacle course looked like fun, so we might be back to check that out.

We have an awesome time at Mt Hermon Adventures. We did the Redwood canopy ziplining tour and it was so much fun. Our guides Elise and Lori were great and shared with us a lot of information not just about ziplining, but also about the redowoods and the natural ecosystem. I highly recommend this place if you are looking for some adventure fun activity in the Santa Cruz area.

My son purchased the Redwood canopy ziplining tour for my 68th Birthday. This was absolutely one of the best birthdays ever. I was a little anxious at first, like going on a roller coaster the first time. I had never ziplined before, but as soon as we went through the practice zip, my anxiety was gone. Yes it is a little overwhelming looking down from those heights, but knowing that the straps that you are hooked up to can basically hold up a car, you know you aren't going anywhere. It is all safety first with the tour guides. Very professional and entertaining at the same time. The only thing that I did not like was, even though it was a 2 hour tour, it was over way too fast :-). I wanted to do it all over again once it was over. Well worth the time and the money.

My husband and I did the aerial adventure tour with Ricky and Jack as our tour guides and it was a FANTASTIC experience. They explained everything very well and made us feel relaxed and comfortable. We had great conversations with them and above all recommend them to be your tour guides, you’ll have a blast! They were the best - 15/10!

It’s a disappointing experience. The course is rather small, each customer should be provided enough time to enjoy the experience. As a group in front of us needed more time, not only we didn’t get to try the obstacles we wanted to do, but also our guide was rushing us at the end and showed impatience. We paid the same as everyone else but we were not provided the same amount of experience, just because we didn’t fight to go first and happened to be the last group of the tour. The two guides could manage the flow better, allow those who can move faster to go first or move those who need more time to do different course.

This was our first zip line in a redwood environment.
Our guides were excellent. We started with a bunny zipline then 30 feet above the ground then up to 150 feet.
The participants could hold only the strap and the guide took care attaching the hook.
I felt safe.

Excellent!! The tour guides were knowledgeable and made you feel 100% safe the entire time!! “Trust the equipment” is a mantra they told me and I kept it in my head. I recommend it if you are up for an adventure. Nothing felt rushed and we took our time, safety first!

No food vendors. It is on property that is a Christian retreat. There are many places to eat before you get there.

Thanks for the question - it is kid friendly but all our guests must be at least 10 years old, weigh between 75-250 pounds and be at least 4ft 6inches tall. I hope that at least you and your 10 year old can come!
