We pulled in later in the evening and the campground only had a few spaces left. While the RV sites are pretty close together, each has a concrete apron/porch space and picnic table. There was plenty of space for us to extend our slide too. The campground hosts were both very friendly and helpful. The beach was clean and the... More

This is a really nice beach, not only can you see Morro Rock but looking the other way you can see Cayucos. Plenty of room to walk in the sand or walk out so the waves surround you.

Easy to reach and park (in November), this beach offers a bit of everything for people who like sand between their toes. Clean, wide and long.

A beautiful and serene beach, with (usually) hardly anyone there. Dogs are not allowed on this beach(huge fine if cited), and neither are smokers. Beach changes from week to week with the tides. The ocean leaves different "gifts" every few weeks. Recently it was sand dollars. Before that, mounds of kelp. You can watch whales swim by during whale migration season... More

We stopped at this beach just for a short time, because one of the locals had said that the beaches around Morro Bay had lots of sand dollars. Spot on! We also enjoyed watching the windsurfers. We pretty much had the beach to ourselves. Nice view of Morro Rock here.

We walked from the far end all the way to the marina almost. Amazing sand and wildlife. Good services too with toilets at the carparks

All the beaches away from major towns along the coast are virtually uninhabited compared to OC or LA. We walk these beaches all the time. As soon as you get away from the immediate access of the town, MB, Cayucos....you have the whole strand to yourself just about...more so during the week and off season weekends.

We stayed overnight in the campground and it was neat. The access to the beach is clean and well indicated! Unfortunately, as we came afoot without any vehicle, we couldn't get any discount for the high rate of 35. The other thing is the location away from every grocery store and the main downtown area

All the camping sites in Big Sur were closed due to a large fire so we drove an hour south and stayed here. Just off Hwy 1, the site has decent sized bathrooms and several water spouts. Not too many trees but it's right next to the beach; expect sand :) We slogged from here to the rock, it was... More

We stayed at a full hook-up site, each site with its own picnic table and gorgeous view of the Beach. This doesn't mean that the other sites are any less attractive, they just don't have hook-ups. The Bathrooms were clean enough, although they do show wear. If you are tent camping try to get one of the campsites nearest the... More
